Now can I let my imagination run wild with Yuzu trying to be upset and Saya being the actual older sibling that annoys you on your darkest hours and ends up making it only annoying, not so dark anymore, or would that be like, super insensitive of me?

Seems they're going to have some more stuff on NHK about FS and Yuzu (still Trump now).

Personally, I hope he doesn't stay long in Sendai. Maybe he's just staying until the end of the competition, because Ghislain can't leave yet and they'll both go back to Toronto as initially planned, when the whole thing is done. I want him far away from Japan and all the media and press that will be on the topic, especially now that Shoma is favorite for GPF. (The meaner side of me is sad GPF tickets went on sale before this, because otherwise, it would have been a good opportunity for JSF and the skating world in general to see the difference between with Yuzu and without Yuzu. They'll probably know it anyway, because I think there'll be people not going even if they don't manage to sell their tickets.)

I'm feeling pretty sad for Brian, too... Javi got a messed up stomach and now has no chance for GPF. And now he's home (unless the pictures on his instagram are older), apparently - which in a way makes sense, because he's competing in France next week, and like Brian said, distractions are good for him - while Yuzu got feverish, went in to train anyway, fell and damaged his foot and had to withdraw and is probably devastated and at home, too. TCC must be kind of gloomy right now... And poor Brian is probably clawing his eyes out, cursing the fates more than any of us... That's why I want them all back at the club ASAP. They need to get together, support each other and regroup and replan and so on... (I know Yuzu has a good relationship with Ghislain, but to be honest, I don't think anyone knows him like Brian does, or can control him and his stubbornness like Brian can. I'm not sure even Tracy can. And even Brian isn't almighty, but I trust him to read Yuzu better than others. It's part of his daily job after all. So I kind of didn't have high expectations with Brian not here. Of course, not blaming Ghislain for it. He's not a mind reader after all. But I do think Brian's absence played a part, psychologically at least.)

Sorry for the ramble. Oh and the NHK thing was an interview with Honda Takeshi, who basically said while other skaters aim to add more quads, Yuzu aims to overcome himself and constantly improve. And that it's good he decided to withdraw, because if he had forced himself and injured himself worse, it could have backfired at the Olympics. Something like that. I like it that both him and Nobu have openly supported the decision to withdraw.

Yuzu at Osaka Grand Front (I think it was? ^_^; )

I still feel very sad when I see these Yuzu pictures, and even when he's mentioned in commentaries and such.

(yesterday I listened to last wednesday podcast by Max &Angelo and when they were making their prediction about Yuzuru I was so very sad and darn, Max, you jinxed him too. jk. Maybe:13877886:)

and with Zhenya apparently dealing with some injury, too, this NHK is being way more bitter than sweet for me, though the pairs did wonderfully, both Polina and Satoko have finally recovered and some of the skaters I was rooting for qualified for the final.

(tbh what happened to yuzu is enough to make me want to erase this whole NHK already. And the final too)

Congratulations to the medalist!

but my baby was supposed to get 28 now. :sadPooh:

This score sheet hurt badly...last row... I was trying to get a good dream of Yuzu last night but the only thing I got was the word "NHK" :xD:

Looking at the score sheet, I have to say my prediction of 250 to be a safe score for Yuzu to get 4th was correct.

The podium is almost unexpected. Well, Now I wish all the podiums are dramatic like this or previous GPs. Isn't it fun?

Thanks Sergei, you proved for skaters who are older than Jason and slapped the faces of people who said you were old

The new costume is so beautiful. I really want to take pic with it in Dec but I guess they are going to take it down...considering how fast their speed was when taking down the banners.:yznotimpressed:

oh, we won't see 22 years old Yuzu anymore...
