Mine too! It's okay, though - there's still one week to go before all my hopes and dreams are crushed. And then he'll appear that night on 24hr tv to taunt me. :hachimaki:

We'll survive! :snpeace:somehow :xD:

I have three people including me ready with my VISA, what else do I need to do? any last minute tips...like do I need to click the button 10 seconds before 10am Japan time... can we select seat?

Good luck everyone! I am super nervous after all the worrying about tickets selling out right away and such lol Contemplating not sleeping tonight...

It starts at 10am Japan time. Which is super early morning here...

As far as I know, we can't select seat, just area. (Not sure, for example, if for Stand tickets you can select Nort, South, West or East, though)

I'll be challenging it on my own... hopefully it'll work fine... *fingers crossed*

On top of that, this weekend is 24HTV, one of my favorite F1 races, and my package with the two  - 2016-2017 and FaOI - photobooks is also scheduled to arrive... *prepares to be overwhelmed*

Edit: Oh, this gives me a little bit of hope... "Please complete your purchase within 15min. from the time your selection page has been displayed. Please note, that after 15min. your purchase will be time-out and selected ticket will go back to inventory."

PHEW! Thanks for this info! What a relief! I spent all day making absolutely sure all my forms and credit card info was saved everywhere but I guess it didn't really matter!

Other last minute things I did to prepare today:

*Made sure Windows wasn't planning to update or restart tomorrow (it was omg close call)

*Called my bank to let them know I would be making multiple overseas transactions within a few minutes so they don't flag my card (said it would probably be fine but made a note just in case)

*Turned off "sleep after x-minutes" on my power settings

(I am taking this very seriously. :hachimaki: )

Good luck, everyone!

Lol good points! My Windows always asks before updating, so that should be fine - I also rarely shut down the laptop... usually I just put it to sleep ^^;

Yeah, luckily, card info should be fine... but with this, three laptops/phones etc. does sound like the best idea, to be able to 'reserve' tickets for 15 minutes on three different platforms, so for three days... I guess I'll have to struggle to carry my work laptop home today, after all... (not to depend on other slow and fickle technology items at home).

'reserve' tickets for 15 minutes is great..sounds like I can ask 6 people to do it and then use my card one by one...that works, right????:tumblr_m9gcvqToXY1qzckow:

I'm going alone, too. And it should be fine. I've never been to Osaka, but I have walked the streets of Tokyo alone even at 1am and felt safe. Tokyo at least is probably the safest city I've ever been in. My advice is to try to find a hotel close to a subway station, or in a popular area, to feel safer. (The hotel I've found for myself makes me a tad nervous, but I'm sticking to my belief that Japan is safer than most other places in the world lol) That's the strategy I apply to all my trips lol My criteria for choosing hotels is simple: cheap, has Wi-Fi and is close to public transportation. :snmouchotto:

Osaka is very different from Tokyo. I don't think it's "dangerous" but I found it a bit seedier than other cities, though I stayed in a rundown area. I think it'll be absolutely fine, though, just as @KatjaThera said, anywhere near the subway or popular areas is good (I don't recommend Tsutenkaku lol). I think also with a big event there will be lots more people around coming and going at the same times as you and most accommodation seems to be in the same general area so you'll enjoy it, I'm sure! I'm staying in a very boring part of town but wanted somewhere with a microwave and coin laundry so I'm stuck.  Just down the road from the National Bunraku Theatre, though!

I knew this hermit life would bite me in the bum one day! >_<

Me too, I don't remember where I found it - some Japanese forum? - but it's a part of me now. O_O
