I'm really worried about being able to get tickets for each day. The person on GS who went a few years ago said you have to complete an order for each day separately so by the time they paid for one day the seats they wanted for he other day were sold out. A buddy system would be handy here - each person books 2 for different days - but I'm going alone. 

 

I'm bummed about no open practices, too. I hope GPF will have them.

There have to be some tickets reserved for foreigners or else it wouldn't be possible to have a sale with no lottery on the same day the lottery starts in Japan. But depending on how many tickets there are, we have a bigger or smaller chance...

 

I'm also going alone, but I'm trying to be hopeful (although 10am Japan time is crazy early where I am...)

Hehe image training for getting tickets... the things Yuzu does to us and we do for him...

 

I think the page for 2016 NHK was also still available, though I'm not sure.

 

I will definitely look into ways to make things faster... But I'll still probably decide which day I want the most and start like that... (so, bring in FS announcement :P)

OK, I asked and they confirmed: it'll be separate orders for each day. So even if we only buy one ticket for each day, we need separate orders for each (three orders). Inconvenient, but it makes sense, somewhat.

So inefficient for the world's most efficient country.  Ugh, I think I will have to enlist the help of others to get the seats I want (and destroy them completely if they fail.) Or maybe 3 computers going at once. TO THE COMPUTER LAB!

Well, I think it's meant to give more people the chance to get seats for at least one of the days.

 

3 computers sounds interesting... phone, laptop and work laptop could work, maybe...

Perhaps, but who would travel all the way to Japan for one day? With no open practices? I can't justify that cost. Even if I get my SEIMEI 2.0 I can't do it. Blerggg. I will have to then risk GPF but it'll be the same deal there. 

 

I think I might bring down my country's entire network with 3 devices connected at once but I'm going to start practicing.

Yuzu, please write another ema just for us to get tickets.

 

I do have a lot left on my Japan list I haven't done but I think skating tickets will eat up a lot of that budget.  I might do it if I can find a little baa-chan that needs me to help around her farmhouse in the middle of nowhere for a month between competitions. 

 

I think many Asian - or at least Chinese fans - have ways to join the lottery and might do so and get three day tickets... But yeah...

 

And I know what you mean re: budget lol I'm a bit worried about my own, too, but... I'll manage something lol

 That's a really good idea though! I should try that too then. I helped a friend get tickets to a concert so she'll be helping me get my tickets this time around, heh. I'm already scheduled to go to Japan whether or not I have tickets but it would be awesome to see it live ;A; Fingers crossed we all get the tickets we want!

I've been trying to find a way to enter the lottery from outside Japan and today got confirmation from my local JTB that they can get the Japanese JTB office to enter for me. They said tickets have to be delivered to a hotel/address in Japan if I win so you'll need to have accommodation sorted.

 

They're asking for a bit more money than the official site but I'm determined to maximise my chances. It would be nice to find out the results before the general sale, of course, so I might end up with an extra ticket, though chances are slim.

 

Anyway, I thought I'd let you all know incase you want to try your luck (and decrease mine by a tiny bit >_<.)
