You could go ahead and say, well, they are athletes and know to keep training just in case, but they are human and this has to play on their emotions too. it cant be easy. Expand The rumour is that he wanted to change to Lambiel and even had the funds for it, but the Federation objected to it, because Lambiel wouldn’t have been the one to solve his jump problems...
