What a tension of Nationals...National must be special for Japanese skaters.  Yuzu must want to get back to here.

Shoma is like Javi, usually performs better when he is a chaser and succumbs to pressure when in the lead or is the favorite

He got up at 5am, and came here on 6am bus sleeping several times (reporters laugh) , he did hardly warm-up and thought it was good if he wouldn't move..

You know, Shoma's cluelessness is really good for competitions. If Coach Fluffy pats him on the shoulder a few times and whispers 'it's a runthrough in costume, at home. No marking jumps, you have to do everything perfectly,' he might just sleepskate through it without even noticing that it's an actual competition, let alone the Olympics.

It's his 1st Oly he might be more excited and hopeful to be there rather than pressure, he can still attend the next, and next one, where he might truly feel the pressure to achieve smt. 

 

Yeah Nats must be a thing for all Jpn skaters, Yuzu mentioned before Nats and Oly are particularly special events that he MUST win. How kuyashii he is to miss this year's Nats=))

Yeah that PCS score for Shoma is a bit ridiculous. Proof: him getting higher skating skills than Patrick. Than Patrick Chan KING of skating skills.
