Oh dear ...

One stress fracture in the left fibula and one painful left ankle.

I don't even like the kid but darn, he got it rough. And he is only 19.

Article about Kao

He also watches Yuzu's youtube videos.:agree:

Yuzu's part:

Quote

He's had a strong admiration for Hanyu-san ever since he saw his performance of Parisienne Walkways at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, where he became the first person to ever break 100 points in the short program.

"I was like 'What is this person? He's so cool!' 'Aaaah, I want to be like this!' Even now, I can't forget that short from Hanyu-kun."

He frequently rewatches Hanyu-san's YouTube channel and learns his first-class techniques.
"He jumps so easily. There's no excess power (even from his set ups). I want to know how to jump efficiently, so I'm watching them a lot right now."

I think this Taiga NISHINO is the boy Yuzuru taught hydroblading in 2017 in Yokohama.

He won the silver medal in the national novice A championships.

I couldn't find the video of Sena Takahashi who won the gold medal :tumblr_inline_n18qr8XewT1qid2nw:

Thanks for posting! It's amazing to see these children that we have seen with Yuzuru grow into budding potential champions themselves.

I am so impressed with Mone and how she skates, really beautiful. She is so talented.

And Shun, didn't he appear at a gala when he was about 9 maybe, and Yuzu patted his head, he also has so much potential I think, overlooked maybe because of Yuma. I was at GPF 2019 and saw his amazing freeskate it was just fantastic...some consolation for what happened to Yuzuru there.

I also wonder what happened to that little boy with asthma that Yuzuru spoke to and skated with (I can't remember what TV programme it was, maybe 24 hour tv but I am not sure)...is my memory serving me correctly?? I don't trust it always!

Nobunari Oda is going back to competition!

That's what I understood from the comments on the streaming he has just made, so I came here to see if anyone knew. Thanks for confirming it!

Do you remember his words on youtube: "If Yuzu were his coach, he’d be able to return to competition again".  It sounded rather "jokingly" at the time, and now it's really real. :O To be honest I didn't really expect it. But  I wish Nobu the best of luck for his plans. :2thumbsup:

Soo cute!  Yuzuru has helped a lot of people - ircc he talked to Mura about jump technique and helped SL watching Deniss at a practice once?  Those that do can’t always teach, but if he can get the Shuu paaas across in Japanese and he’s got the time why not?

I don't understand JSF. Any skaters in the official teams to Universiade can medal at comps that matter in the second half of the season (4CC and Worlds). Amongst the alternates, Rinka is a medal contender as well.

Why sending them to Universiade knowing it's too close to 4CC? Also how did they choose the teams? Isn't it THE logical thing to do to wisely and responsibly delegate your most reliable athletes only to comps that matter?

Does JSF have new favs they don't really give a damn about the rest or something?
