SuzyQ
So many competitions to follow Tomoe Kawabata did great SP, but she must be unsatisfied with her FS. Her Lutz jumps are superb anyway with length and height. Moa Iwano does not seem to have overcome her UR issue, but I really enjoy her performance, and her steps are truly exquisite It was pity that Moa had to wait before the performance due to some technical troubles. shanshani
okay I'm super down for this tbh a couple of other team Japan skaters should probably consider switching to dance. it's just too crowded in singles, and Japan needs more depth in pairs/ID
sallycinnamon
Very surprised to read the news, I didn't see this coming either. I don't know how realistic Beijing can be for them, Takahashi is already 33 (will be 34/35 in their first season) and Kana switched to Ice Dance also quite late, when she was already in her 20s. This partnership will probably generate much interest in ice dance in Japan in the next few years though.
