Was Ashley injured before? Did she get injured during the performance? Did she get scared by Bradie?

Serafima's not gonna get her warmup.

She was pointing at her ankle, so it was likely her previous ankle infection giving her problems... :(

Serafima's really cute but her program seemed a bit empty to me? And a bit slow?

I loved the rippons though.

3Lz rippon

2A - still ugly

3S3T - I don't know you land these jumps

missed one

3Froppon2T

3Lo fought hard for that landing! rippon

no matter what, thank you, girl, for not just giving up - you were going to quit at the start of the season.

Lots of troubles with the jumps, but they don't matter here.

For a comeback it was great! She wanted to end her career just a few months before :-)

if it is the infection issue you can imagine that it could be an open-ish wound... in which case it could sting like hell if aggravated. Why  skate through that if you think it could result in something worse? I have no issue with Ashley quitting. She's not some young teen trying to prove herself.. she wants to go to Nats, get to Olys and do her best there. I"m ok with it.

”Nice to see a fully rotated second jump in this competition” from the Swe commie. :smiley-laughing021:

Good fight Sima!  Nice hug with Plushy at the end! =D

Btw, what's up with Russian girls and skating with their mouths open? Helps them to breathe better? lol
