"Team USA against the world" ...okay, then :usrs:
I gotta mentally prepare myself for all those smucker's shoutouts during competition :animated-smileys-cheeky-041:

do we know what times the events are at?

i'm not good with time zones so i'm trying to work out what times the events will be on and if i can watch livestream or not...

Lake Placid time zone is GMT-5

I don't know the exact schedules yet, but usually competitions start in the afternoon around 2pm or so local time.

I hope so

Eta: no, we won't :smiley-sad016:

Why not? Did Evgeniy say somewhere that he won't go?

According to his official site he's doing a tour in Slovakia this week, he has shows every day until Sunday. He can only go to SA if he cancels them...

That's a pity... I wonder who'll replace him than. Anyways I'm so happy for her and for him as a coach.

thanks for info :2thumbsup:

oooh the times are kinda late but not impossible to catch if i manage to stay awake...

i guess there's always videos i can catch up on later...

Videos are usually up on YT very fast, that shouldn't be a problem!

Short programs will be during the night to me, so I will only able to watch the free skates this time. It will be a bit difficult not to check the Planet or any social media when I wake up on Saturday, because I never check the results before watching the programs. But at least it's going to be exciting!

I don't understand the time schedule of this event. First sp and fs for pairs and men, then ID and ladies, and they also force the poor girls to skate the gala as soon as they end their free :slinkaway:

just wtf skate america?! Do the ladies at least have time to breath, change dress before going back on the ice?

I guess that's how a schedule based on tv broadcasting looks like (and of course NBC had to dictate the Olys schedule )

tho in NHK the gala was very close to the FD, too

And of course my 700th post had to be a rant...:tumblr_inline_mn41rkfu9v1qz4rgp:  I so wanted it to be insightful and meaningful  :sigh:

And finally a GP in my time zone!!!! And, it is the one I have the least interest in, of course.

SP is very late for me so I am skipping it, this is not worth losing sleep over. The FP time is okay, I guess I will be only watch that

I am really not interested much in this event even though there are skaters that I like here.  Is that normal for the last GP or is becuase this season was a disaster and I only want it to end
