This is bothering me a little. I know it's frustrating to hear but there's no point trying to impute malicious intent on the broadcasters where they may have not been informed (even if the joke is in bad taste). This isn't directed at you specifically but it's important to keep a balanced view on things, especially when we're hurting. Don't waste energy getting angry or blow relatively innocuous/unintended poor taste comments out of proportion. Bitter/negative Discourse won't help and will only fuel the schadenfreude from the less savoury parts of the FS community. Don't give them ammunition.

I chose to watch ladies without comment .... I can't stand any idiotic commentary rn! And the lady commentator from ESP RO tends to do this all the time ... so just music and the ladies!

Sigh when I woke up this morning I had a bad feeling even though I hadn't checked the news yet. I'm kind of glad I didn't buy GPF tickets now, I wouldn't be in any state to enjoy the competition knowing the circumstances.

I call out a professional commentator who is too lazy/ unprofessional to do the job he is being paid for.  I am extra annoyed because it is Hanyu as I would if it were Sui/Han but I would feel the same emotion whoever it was.  I and many others are paying for an ill informed ramble instead of proper commentary and we have a right to be annoyed by it.

That's good. The satellites who travelled to Japan have had a bit of a shock and need some support, too. I know it's all pretty terrible but we'll get through all of this.

Fair enough, I would expect them to be checking Twitter and be updated on the news, especially since it's been announced by several Western outlets. I didn't hear the context in which it was spoken so I can't comment on how unprofessional the actual comment was, but I tend to hesitate before imputing malicious intent on the commentators. I just feel like everyone's moved onto the anger stage of the grieving process so I'm hoping we actually focus the anger into something productive.
