He's come back from great adversity to win before.

But I just remembered one thing I wanted to say and forgot: 勝つ日も、勝てない日も、私は羽生選手を応援しています。

Can I print a banner saying this and hang it up somewhere

Well, mens GPF will feel different. My sleep needs will win this time. Though Plushy also did attend his 06 gpf, also due to injury too, no?  And the one who won gpf that year got silver only. So far my dreams have not dropped Yuzu.

I wish we could hang it in his room. Next to his silver medals. >.> Or in their place.

or maybe get him a huge pooh bear holding a banner saying this :dpooh:

And I think I'll start heading back. there's a mosquito determined to eat me and I'm actually getting hungry myself.

Really? Yuzu need NOT go to such lengths to emulate his hero. The doughnut spin and the bielmann, and winning a lot, that's enough. If he does want to emulate something, the Plushy headspace would be nice - you know, the iron conviction that of course he's the best.

What a nightmare—no Yuzu, Javi or Pchan in GPF?! I hate to think of articles sweeping them aside now. I’m rooting for Kolyada in Nagoya.

He’s made it through worse than this. I have to have faith he can do it again.

I don't think it'd do much for my hunger, sadly...

@SparkleSalad

Unless you're already near, I think I'll see you on Sunday at the gala.

I've said what I wanted about this on twitter. tldr I'm proud of him for making this decision even though I'm heartbroken for him too. The person who wanted this the least on the planet is Yuzuru.

If his LCL injury is minor it can heal in 2 weeks or less. More serious (partial tear) within 2-6 weeks (in time for nationals). A full tear may require surgery and 4-8 weeks recovery. However bad it is, withdrawing to avoid making the injury worse is the best thing they could do long term. I hope Brian maybe convinced both Yuzu and Javi to see a sports psychologist after this cursed GP series.

This is very sad but there are still opportunities this season for smiles and successes. For him to show his best he needs to be healthy.

A silver lining is that this might relieve a little bit of competitive tension between Yuzu and Javi.

Javi: I can't go to the GPF because of my stomach problems.

Yuzu: I can't go to the GPF because of my injury.

Javi + Yuzu: There, there. :consoling2:

I have faith in him too!  And I doubt I'll wake up at weird times to follow the GP series now..lol...that said, maybe I can put more attention to the ladies side...

I hope you can cheer each other up a bit at the gala. I know it's nowhere near the same, but there will be Jason... He is a joy to watch.

Dang I just woke up to 200+ pages ... any changes beside how the site look like. Lol I thought I was in a different site or something.

Ohh so he did WD....
