As long as the deadline for entry has not yet passed.

The Golden Spin doesn't seem to have announced its participants yet.

So that might be a good option. And the timing is the best since it's still in December.

It will be in Zagreb, Croatia. Not sure how much travel that would entail, and if he will be in good condition at that time already (which I'm crossing all my fingers and toes and anything crossable he will be, even if he's not joining any comps pre-Nats).

I just hope his condition will improve a lot, so that he can enter other small competition, no gpf no worries.

This is not the worst. Things like this happens to skaters everytime. Sui/Han didn't partiticipate in GPF series last season and then won 4CC and Worlds. The same goes for Papadakis/Cizeron in 2015/2016 season. It happened to Yuzu now but he will recover like others did. And he is the king of comebacks.

 

I like the idea of some Challenger event in Europe.

 

I remember Dick Button once won  European Championships being American. So...I have just had a stupid thought.

Challenge series look very doable to me. With another 250/300 he can still keep the 1st in world standing.

you cannot really lose a title you had to WD from, besides, the new guys know that winning a GPF title without him proves nothing-they still have no real chance to measure against a clean Yuzu, and the closest they got, he still won the free section.

But I'm glad this is happening before Olympic. I hope speed recovery for him and comeback stronger. 

God gave him this trials for him if he could pass it, I believe he'll get the good things at the end.

Best for him not to move the leg at all and rest, so no Gala i think. What I'm hoping for is an update within the next few days saying that his injury is healing up well and he's doing physio like a good kid.

I dont think so. From now on, I dont wanna see anybody bother him for anything regarding GPF, except ISU decides to give him an extra spot at the final.
