    Yes!!!! I remember that's why I was so moved when I watched Yuzu's chopin during ACI last month....after watching many skaters before him, some great, some not so much....then Chopin....

    That moment was magical...the contrast is so huge and I was so drawn into the program.

     

    I realized I've used magical to describe Yuzu's skates many times, but I guess cos it's so beautiful I don't know how else to describe it...

    I only know that he seemed pretty down at the kiss and cry, and was talking about 'not feeling up for it', so I think he is worried about his physical condition...

    Oh no, I hope he doesn't actually withdraw :/ Patrick's one of the few skaters who have solid skating skills, not just jumps... I'd even call him the best in the field right now, sometimes he looks like he's floating on the ice. I never really followed his career, but if he withdraws I'm worried the R word's next.
