I never complain about scores because I always thought the judges know better, but this time I am very annoyed. Shoma skated right after Patrick and Jason and the difference in skills was clear. There is no way his PC could be this high. I am mad at the judges, I really like Shoma and was rooting for him but this is ridiculous

Agreed. High tss does NOT = high pcs.... yet they keep doing it to the detriment of the sport and fan understanding of the sport.... grrrrr

What is PCS?  Do u drink it, do u eat it, where can I buy it?  I feel sorry for Patrick, that 8s in his PCS.  

Maybe the judges will throw PCS at Jason and go all above nine from everybody after he lands that quad, too. Because there really is no reason why he doesn't get it if it's actually about skating skills and performance and composition and interpretation. Transitions, perhaps, I don't know. Apparently landing quads gets you PCS candy.

I think it's generally deserved, since Shoma went clean... Shoma got a lot higher on PE not on TR or SS in the end. I just wish Patrick got a lot more than him on TR n SS not just by 0.1 points... The gap on PCs between Patrick n Jason is also i'm worried for him tbh

I enjoyed this competition. For Jason I am not sure I feel this music as a skating program, but I will see how I feel when there is more conditioning.  Chan, I find his music selections boring but the program itself was honestly so strong I kind of forgot that.  And the costume is really nice this time. So much better than nose bleed tie dye.  And I love Shoma's program too.  I don't think he's peaking, I just think he generally has good consistency (wonky jumps an all), much like last season.  So we'll see.  

Patrick chan lost to Shoma Uno in terms of PCS in Canada? I am not a fan of either but this is insane, just unacceptable. There is no way Uno could beat Chan in PCS, none of the five elements, NIL!

All I can say is that many of the international judges seems to have the hots for shoma, judging from this event, lombardia, and last season's trend of his PCS shooting up ridiculously fast.

 

Honestly many of us here see it coming(that's why we had the whole argument that Nathan is not Yuzu's only threat), and from the data we can see that his PCS won't go down much but probably will even go up to reach Yuzu level (I mean, they already let him surpass Patrick in Chanada! ) If he goes clean or seems clean like this time a couple more time.

 

This is why Yuzu is wise in adding that 4lz. His PCS lead will not be a lead this season whether we like it or not (because the judges are obviously taking a very subjective liking to shoma, regardless of his actual transitions and skating skills and performance dynamics and what not...Like three 10s? Really? )...And he actually NEED that TES boost (and have to be clean )to win against a  clean or close to clean Shoma.
