I'd rather he actually recovers instead of rushing back and maybe not healing up right (although I'd be more worried if we were talking about Yuzu not Brian )

Guess travelling to competitions and even practices are out of the question... (Just from skating perspective) obviously recovery IS paramount.

Depends on what type of surgery he has. If it's laparoscopic it's quicker recovery than open cholecystectomy.

But suffering transcontinental flight is another pain. He could recover by then but pressure from flights and competitions is another thing.
