Gypsy Dance by Leon Minkus

The Italians are talking a lot about Wakaba's mistake on the Flip edge and the Toeloop UR. I guess they are happy she got a lower score than Carolina...

She got a ! on the 3F and a UR on the 3T, most likely?

Yeah. That 3F.... why the 3F....

Gypsy dance from the ballet Don Quixote. Famous in Russia. So of course TAT appreciates that she understands its spirit.

5 pts behind Caro. Ouch.

I wasn't watching during the slo-mo replay. What do you guys think? I'd say they usually don't give Wakaba the benefit of the doubt

did waka also ur? or get edge call?

edit: its both *facepalm* (i'm always salty that her team didnt change the flip to a loop)

Still not sold by this program but Wakaba skate with so much fire and power. Given the score, I think she got edge call on flip ?

Elena's dress is um...I'm not sure if I like it or dislike it. o_O confusing

Wakaba should take out the flip, right?

There's your explanation - 20s fringe not grass skirt

This music is horrible.

Thanks. I probably have heard it before then, and more than once (seen the ballet multiple times). Brilliant stuff, but then, Minkus was a brilliant composer.

Just like Gershwin. *hearts*
