Kazuki deservedly in the lead - I thought the gap between him and Morisi should have been a bit wider though. Kazuki was wonderful, and I loved Camden's performance and always love Matteo's skating stupid quad toe. Poor Misha and Evgeni.

 

EDIT: I missed out Roman - it's because the ISU stream wasn't working  

I've watched him now - good job Roman!!

Kazuki's skate was just magic. A well-deserved result.

I won’t elaborate on this but If Kazuki was *another skater*, he already had 100 for this performance but he is not *another skater*. In my opinion, he deserved at least 2-3 points higher than Morisi.

Kazuki, Roman and Camden finishing in the top 5 is all I needed for a great start into the weekend.

 

Not kidding: Kazuki is my favorite Japanese male single skater after Yuzu at the moment. When he's on, he's a shining star.

Same could be said for Roman and Camden...so glad it went well for them today. I was worried about Roman after all the mix-up with the luggage, that it might rattle him, but looks like it didn't bother him after all.

 What happened? I see Kazuki in first!!!

He was just clean...but somehow lowballed because he is not the anointed one

I just saw the result and I'm especially happy for Roman and of course Kazuki.

It is seriously high time for the ISU to ratify new jumps because so far we have had the Backxel, the Floop, the Flootz and the Saltoe already. Almost a full new set of jumps there.

Yeah, but then he praised Kamila's jumping techniques to the moon LoL.
