Ah ... if only he didn't fall on the 3A ... he would've win ...

Anyway congrats to the medalists! Wow, Morisi win this!

Protocols are out.

Ah, should have known they wouldn't put him ahead of Kolyada. Pity about the 3Lo mistake. But, loved his performance. He was zooming across the ice so fast I thought he might fall, but he didn't. It was amazing.

ah damn.....would have loved to see him on the podium. But I don't think the last two will bomb it.

But still, really happy for Roman.

Yes, me too. I really liked his skate. Roman also looked happy

Wow. So little point differences...

I will elaborate this today, Kazuki is not Yuma and that’s why he didn’t win. He is lowballed in the PCS because he isn’t a JSF’s fave and was competing against an Eteri boosted one.

You are right.

JSF also has their preferred coachers and skaters

I'd to see Shun and Kazuki beat their favourites...

(By the way, I think Kazuki should change the coach, his coach in Japan is just like a cheerleader for him)

The Japanese Nationals will be a blood hell again...Even there are no rooms for errors for Shoma and Yuma.

Ikr! I’m so mad right now. Because let’s forget the nonsense free skate scoring for a moment. If Kazuki had his deserving higher score for his SP, he could easily had won this. Judges closes their eyes when faves do their problematic jumps but aren’t afraid to deduct points once a non-fave skater makes a small mistake. Why Yuma should get all the blunt ridiculous boost/support from JSF but other talented Japanese skaters be left to get lowballed in the international competitions. At least USA is more “fair” in boosting and supporting most of their skaters. WTF JSF.

Bold of you to assume Yuma and Shoma don’t have rooms for mistakes. Shun should had won the free in France but JSF worked harder. The current -/+5 GOE system is developed for the faves.

Ugh...slept through my alarm...going to go watch now, and try to avoid spoilers meanwhile...

I hate JSF how they choose the skater according to their coaches (including Koshiro but he never delivers XD).

I was shocked to see Moris won, the PCS was wayyy too high, and his 4T at least was UR. I was sitting in sector A, behind the technical panel amd it was very good to see how they do their job, which element they review, which one not. After they watched Moris' second 4T I was surprised to see they didn't call it.

Misha is still inconsistent even if he is a good skater. It's not enough. 88 PCS was generous...

I think Kazuki and Roman were lowballed. Their+Matteo' FS were the highlight to me. Honorable mention goes to Camden.

Finally caught up to my day and watched the free skate and...wow. Now I know why my Twitter tl was full of complaints about the scoring.

Misha normally isn't what I'd consider overscored, but he absolutely was overscored today. by a wide margin. And let's not even get started on Morisi.

IMO the real podium begins with Kazuki and should be Kazuki, Roman, and Matteo. Matteo was on fire for his program. Roman skated almost as well as I've ever seen him do, and Kazuki was delightful.

So the judges can suck it, because they were wrong.

An aside here - I actually felt sorry for Kolyada today. I know he's always been inconsistent but this one was different, he seemed like he'd had the wind knocked out of his sails by halfway through. Anyone else notice that?

And no one went clean, so really, the tech shouldn't have been the deciding factor today.

I loved Keiji's skate, even with the problems. Just something about it that looks good.

One more thing:

Who showed up with the giant Romsky poster with the finger heart on it? That was great! And I think he liked it. Was it one of us satellites?
