Thats nice that he quoted him ! I miss him as well and I will be a nervous wreck for sure when I see him skate at Worlds!

Performing and fully recovered aren't exactly the same thing when it comes to Yuzu, but I'll trust to believe Brian this time for my sanity 

Rule nr 1: never believe Zuzu nor Brian.

Brian was diplomatic here, he said that he will be ready and prepared (and who can doubt that after pulling off last Olympics? ) I hope he will be recovered completely I also totally believe Yuzu is smart about the recovery.

I also believe Yuzu will do what is best for him and Brian admits that has somewhat limited information on Yuzu's progress.

Just like most of you, i also trust that Yuzu (especially) but also Brian will do what's best and if they say he's ready then he is, in whatever way they mean it. It's not necessary to speculate, i trust his judgement.

I think it is safe to say that Yuzu is following his medical team's orders to the letter.  The injury during the Olympic season and his subsequent winning performances at PC while dosed with pain-killers convinced Yuzu that he is not invulnerable.  The fact that the pre-Olympic injury was, until they knew much more about it, potentially one that might have ended Yuzu's career.  That made him realize that injuries have consequences and some injuries can have consequences that he will carry with him to his grave.  The Yuzu we have now is a wiser Yuzu than the Yuzu who existed before that 'fall seen 'round the world'.
