A few jumps by Yuzuru Hanyu and Nathan Chen, the succession helps seeing the difference but the GOEs part is not always relevant because it is so, essentially when the judges are the same.

Now there are masks in the shape of gyoza. I confess I would be quite tempted! Or by pelmeni ones, or Italian of French filled pasta specialties... And a few days ago, started the first rice harvesting in the coastal region of Fukishima, since the nuclear pollution following the tsunami caused by the 2011 Great Earthquake. https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20201003_22/ It reminded me the epilogue of the Grendizer/Goldorak series.

As long as the girls stay healthy, I am not against a jump feast! They are such a bunch, so different! (I say "girls" also for young women, I hope it's OK.)

What does he say at the beginning, about the cleavage of his Origin 2 costume? And, in the fourth minute of the video, about Nijinsky?
-
Why do you call him a clown?
-
I think it is also @Henni147 's preferred performanced, she edited the video for a version without clapping (but without the sound of his skates, of course) :

With a Biellmann! Is this Takeshi Kataide a parent of Takeru Kataide, who was second to Shun Sato as Novice B and Novice A?

I don't know if this goes better here or in Team France... Katia Krier, who was deputy technical director at the French Fed, is leaving. She was Gilles Beyer's ex-wife and is known to have said she was not "the Mrs Fourniret" of figure skating, from the name of a serial rapist and killer, particularly of teens and pre-teens, whose wife would help him in his crimes. I don't find the info in English, so the link is in French. https://www.lequipe.fr/Patinage-artistique/Actualites/Katia-krier-quitte-la-federation-francaise-des-sports-de-glace/1184186 I think I must add, though it is by no way a fact. The article suggests she might be replaced by... Annick Dumont, another ex-wife of Gilles Beyer. And ex-wife of Didier Gailhaguet, who seems to have always promoted her. Very sad if it is true. "On prend les mêmes et on recommence." (We take the same and start again.)

But from what he said later, it was not question of leaving Team Tutberidze, but to make shows with him and his wife...

Great! But as they hint, there are very few rinks in Spain and even in Madrid, where is the larger number, they are overbooked. And in France (I think the cost would not be quite different in Spain) building a basic but modern rink would cost something like 6M€ inclusive of tax (add maybe 1M for off-rink facilities), and the yearly expenses (there, it may differ a good deal in Spain, depending on the cost of utilities) turn around 200.000€. This, if they don't opt for an associated swimming pool, to use the heat from the rink — but not sure it would be that smart in Spain : even if in Madrid winters are really cold (but rather sunny), it may prove better to have a lot of solar panels to cover the expense, and maybe an environment-friendly cooling additive to be able to re-use the water. So, they would need much help to set up such a school.

I am so glad Alena Kostornaia will be in a boarding school! When she was at Khrystalny, she had nearly 2 hours commuting in the morning, and the same in the evening, I think? (And Moscow metro is safe and all, but one feel wobbling in it!) I think at least one of Evgueny Plushenko's skating rinks was maybe even farther. I don't know if the others had a lot of commuting too, but being on site is often better. I hope they'll have buckwheat porridge for breakfast! Edit : Alexandra Trusova's Quad Loop. Okay, it is from TSL.

With his level of skating, his (my feeling, no hard proof I'll admit) learning to coach, do you think would earn a lot from distance coaching? Not to speak of maybe incompatible hours.

Rough translation (because my English is bad) : Worlds, Olympic Games... Many years competing [against one the other] but, above all, many years being fellows and friends! I am very eager to see you, Yuzuru Hanyu!

You were not off-topic, at least in my opinion, but I went, though I posted it here because it followed the conversation. When I put an off-topic emoji, I mean I will be off-topic, not others. I hope it is not a wrong use of the emoji?

I really didn't find you pervy! Edit : After all, is it not similar to what Gimli wished from Galadriel, which pleased her so much? And isn't Yuzuru Hanyu an elf?
-
Thank you so much! So he too, is ready to spread private correspondence. And he insinuates Alina Zagitova wanted to leave for good, while, as far as I understand, she seemed ready to make shows with him and his wife, I don't see why she shouldn't. I don't see a problem if Alexandra Trusova prefers to train separately, and has chosen her coach when she arrived, as long as he could propose her this choice? As to components, I wouldn't follow him. In fact, I would agree in the absolute : given we have a Yuzuru Hanyu, other skaters should be far from 10 in components. But as long as skaters show mediocre components yet get 9+, then definitely Kamila Valieva deserves 10. She's so talented. And, is it ethical to speak that sort of concern directly with the judges, from a coach? (I'm asking because I really don't know.)

I cannot copy to get an automatic translation, what does it say? Evguenia Medvedeva has a pinched nerve between two vertebrae. I hope it is not seriously damaged, she can have everything put back in place, and a good bedding etc. https://twitter.com/fs_gossips/status/1316706192379576325

You will give ideas to his hairdresser. As we are in low ideas, a new thread : Yuzuru Hanyu's costumes as chairs. I confess I am convinced, neither by the principle, nor by the result (except the Phantom of the Opera one, and the three last ones). I tend to see it as an expression of dryness from a thirsty cactus during a severe drought, and there I confess I'm joining.

I read the first part, without automatic translation so I am likely to have misunderstood things (well, with an automatic translation I would be probably too). Very interesting to know there are exams to be judges, not only training (are they the same for all federations? How are they?) And very interesting too, that many people voting at ISU have linguistic problems and vote without understanding what is at stake. If it is still the case 23 years after, this may be a cause for some federations having more power and others not reacting to abuses. This being said, for Yuzuru Hanyu specifically it may not be just a question of federation, Shoma Uno seeming to get the same scores for a less valuable skating, when he's "on". And there, that question of "a skater's standing" appears and explain much. If all that is written in ISU manuals is of no avail in judging, just the number and official level of elements, of course Yuzuru Hanyu has an equal. If the skeleton/draft of an indifferent program is the same as a full fleshed/masterpiece of an ultra-beautiful and difficult one provided the base value of the elements is the same, this explains so much...

From the automatic translation of the comments in Japanese on the Twitter post, it seems he didn't go there personally? Or is it the Twitter poster who didn't go in person? (Automatic translations tending to mix I and he.) They can send their products. Anyway there are direct ferries between Sendai and Tomakomai. And I remember a former coach of Yuzuru Hanyu's is now in Hokkaido, and he's already visited her. Also, they say this pastry shop made a cake for Brian Orser's birthday during Nationals in Sapporo in 2015? Anyway he seems to have been a customer since 2012 at least! They must have really yummy pastries and I am so glad Yuzuru Hanyu can enjoy them! Edit : I have found the dessert shop. From the town centre, you take the (large) Loop Route (what a nice name!) to the West, after the river you pass the Tomakomaishi Toyokawa Community Centre, and it is not very far after. Here is their website : http://www.st-dominique.jp/ Edit 2 : I have a theory on the choice of the name of this pastry. Of course, the pastry chef may have a Dominican spirituality. But, there is a rather important Paris street, in a posh neighbourhood, called rue Saint-Dominique, and there are a lot of French pastries there, and even a Japanese pastry. It may be related? http://www.sadaharuaoki.com/boutique/paris-fr.html

That's tango. With all the tango programs one see in figure skating, there's rarely the "swing", I suppose this is why most are rather boring.
