Monji_and seems to be on a Spirited away inspiration (I love this movie). I wonder what is written.

Maybe it's because I'm European but I have never, and it was more than 25 years ago. And I know nobody who have. But I liked the idea, not the least because if Yuzuru Hanyu himself happened to learn about it, his reaction would be certainly funny.

I have read on a Tsiskaridze fan forum I try to follow (so, I may have misunderstood because of automatic translation) that the skaters programmed for Stage 2 of the Cup of Russia were changed. Do you happen to know more?

Not Yuzuru-fanart but I like it.

This fanartist is reviewing some of her old drawings. The next one has maybe already been posted? And Neko Masamune once again emulates "the Sendai boy" :

Well, in that pose, I rather see "purple pants of sin"...

Hidden answer because it is technical consideration about CoViD.

This evening we really thought it was dead because it had fell on a side, though still sticking to its slice of pear from this afternoon (which it hadn't touched at first but then it looked like sleeping). So I tried to gather it on a sheet of paper to check its species (I think it is likely to be a meadow brown) and it opened its wings and stood. So I gave it back its pear and let it like that. Yes, we worry for it though, well, it is not really a pet? We are like children. I am afraid I am very much . EDIT (Tuesday morning). I also gave it a grape grain cut in two. Yesterday evening it remained on the pear (nearer the grape though) but this morning it was on the grape. (Yes, I bought seedless grape, because where I go the only organic grape is seedless and there was nothing else juicy, though I may try blueberries soon.) And later it flew and went back by the luggage.

Indeed, Lyon skating rinks had not reopened and Bordeaux Mériadeck skating rink closed on September 25th. There is a good deal of contestation because for instance, Marseille was placed in maximum alert without meeting criteria — and these criteria keep changing, perplexing epidemiologists. Even from the mayor of Grenoble, as I wrote, though he is extremely "CoViD-consious". Let's see what happen next.

Thank you for the correction! I have also read that the mayor of Grenoble, though quite serious about CoVid, had demanded justifications to the Prime Minister, about the restrictive measures recently implemented, some of which make no sense CoViD-wise. (He is not in charge of the skating rink, as the latter depends on the conurbation of Grenoble, not the city itself.)

This is more relevant to CoViD specific thread maybe, but as a whole, except a little in Belgium, Netherlands and Spain, there have not been a "second wave" in Western Europe. The surveys I have seen about more or less random samplings and the absence of any excess of mortality elsewhere show it. The rise in official numbers of contamination result from a higher number of tests, a better tracking, and sometimes a higher cycle threshold in tests. It doesn't reflect the real number of contamination, which seems to be slowly decreasing as a whole. Relying on people's good sense is hardly an option in France, because of the total heck of an official communication we have had from the beginning, and still have. So people get an opinion (Nature abhors a vacuum, isn't it?) depending on their trust in such or such politician (with sometimes some influence from an illusion of invincibility) rather than on scientific surveys they cannot sort anyway. This is why, if Grenoble skating rink want to have attendance, they will have to survey the premises, choose efficient measures and implement them with very clear signs and a (friendly and patient) checking.

In France it has to be checked, otherwise it will not be followed by (nearly) everybody. Though I think figure skating spectators may be more aware and disciplined. I must say, I know hydroalcoholic solution is quite inefficient on bare hands, and I have never seen new handwash equipment an the entry of malls etc, though it doesn't need running water (but it is much more maintenance than bottles of hydroalcoholic solution). So it is unlikely to be available there.

She has a style and I love it. I hope she will get (I wouldn't say : back) good jumps now she's grown. And of course I hope she will be judged fairly, like all skaters, but I don't rely on it.

Paris (and close suburbs) is about to close bars (often used as substitute night clubs, which cause clusters; though they had to close at 10pm since a week and I don't see that they have monitored the efficiency of this first measure, the Government keep changing their own rules and don't seem concerned to the least by the real epidemic, in general it is a bit complicated), and ask classes etc to be filled at only 50%.

I don't think it is a motive of despair. There's an ongoing struggle in France between scientists (who want the right measures to be taken, not useless dictatorial ones, and people to be properly informed) and the government. There's more than a month left. Though, it would be safe for the public with proper measures, but I would really like ceiling-hung protections for the skaters, because they breathe very deep and are exhausted, so more vulnerable than the public, even if usually the transmission is not via air but via touching the face after having touched a contaminated surface etc. Or, the championship to be held without spectators if it cannot be otherwise.

After three days disappeared (I thought it was dead) it emerged, covered with dust and cobweb, from behind a luggage. (Shame on me. But I am really limited on housekeeping.) We managed to free it from this burden and gave him, with its water and honey mix, a slice of a very juicy pear I happened to have, and it is now firmly hanging on it, the trunk sticking to the fruit.

The automatic embedding is working! Great! By the way, I wonder what this "Rabbit, rabbit, white rabbit!" really means. I see it often but never managed to find a real explanation. Crumbs and Pooh : This fanart is not about Yuzuru Hanyu but Jun hwan Cha. Poohzuru sent this view of his/her progression in fanart : https://twitter.com/poohzuru/status/1312192608718917632

Oh, I hadn't seen this video, I thought he had just made three trials, but in fact the trials I had seen are just the ones where he effectually jumped a 4A, there were many preparatory ones. Thank you! And I hope all will be OK with the forum. I am so glad it is back, even imperfect! Thanks to all the admins who, I guess, are working hard to fix the remaining problems.

How Shun Sato must feel low! If he doesn't get "good" results in this competition, will there be consequences for him?
-
There's a trap because given his position, I think it is one of his 4A at GPF practice, not a 3A. Before jumping a 3A he looks so light and "not preparing".

So, Yuzuru Hanyu is coached by Tracy Wilson, has choreographies by David Wilson, and skates on Wilson blades. He may believe everybody's name is Wilson in English-speaking countries.
