I have to say there is a tiny part of me that wants this simply because I would laugh myself out of this Galaxy due to all the crying that would happen if he landed a 4A in the Olympics and won. It would be glorious! No, actually scratch that. I would laugh myself out of this Universe. Yes I've got a tny part in me saying the same thing... But then I realize that if that happens, he'd have realized all his dreams and probably r*** afterwards, and I'm not ready yet.

If Shizuka and Yuzuru wants it, they should be able to find sponsors for sendai Rink, I think. They're powerhouses, and the whole Sendai is very proud of them. Both of them have helped or currently help the rink financially, so it wouldn't be that surprising, I think ?...

Is Shun Sato from Sendai ? I didn't know !

Moi j'avais pas mal appris le japonais et il a euh... 20-25 ans ? Par moi-même, parce que la culture du pays m'intéressait (et que je voulais lire des mangas et à l'époque il n'y avais quasiment pas de mangas traduits :) ) - et puis j'ai arrêté, même si j'ai gardé de bonnes bases. Mais grâce à Yuzu je me suis pris à nouveau d'une gigantesque envie de me remettre au japonais - ça a été assez magique, comme retrouver une vieille amie, de vieux souvenirs de règles de grammaires, de vocabulaire et de kanjis enfouis au fond de ma mémoire et qui ont refait surface. Rien que pour ça, ça valait le coup de tomber sous le charme de Yuzu (et des émissions japonaises qui parlent de lui :) ) Cela dit, je n'ai pas le niveau suffisant pour le comprendre "dans le texte", il me manque trop de vocabulaire et d'automatismes. Quand ses interviews sont sous-titrées, parfois je fais des arrêts sur image pour traduire une phrase ou deux, et assimiler le vocabulaire qui revient souvent. Mais je perçois son éloquence - et du coup moi aussi je suis très frustrée par son niveau d'anglais :). Cela dit il s'est mis plus sérieusement à l'anglais dernièrement, il a fait de gros progrès. Qui sait, peut-être que dans ses bonnes résolutions de 2017 il y a "être capable de répondre en interview à PeongChang" :)

If I remember well, at GPF's press conference, Nathan was asked about quad axel and he said something like "I'd still have to work on my 3A beforehand, but if someone among us manages to have a 4A it would be Yuzuru because his 3A is the best in the world" or something like that. And then Yuzuru has been talking about his deep love for the axels more and more in the media, then about his dream of having 4A one day, and finally said he thought he could do it ... after several people said they had seen him doing it. But yes, it escalade quickly :)

Yes exactly. It is not wrong to say Yuzu is sensitive to pressure. He skates with his heart on his sleeves, and his performances reflect that. He has mental blocks, we all know of them - this year, the 4S3T and skating second. He has mental pushes thanks to his "hate to lose" mentality - when he did "bad" in the SP (worlds 2017), when another skater adds another quad (Boyang nhk 2015), or every time he earns a silver medal instead of a gold. That one of the reasons I'm so anxious everytime he skates : because I know it could be heaven or it could be hell (well, for anybody being silver medalist wouldn't be hell, but for Yuzu it is :) ). He IS intense and emotional. And I think that's part of what drive so people toward him.

Moi j'ai fait 3 ans de russe et j'ai à peu près tout oublié, du coup j'avoue que tu m'impressionnes :yes: Sinon, VieObsolète, oui, Jeff Buttle a chorégraphié PW :love: , Chopin :love: , et Let's Go Crazy :love: . Bref c'est une affaire qui marche entre eux, je pense qu'on peut être sûrs à à peu près 100 % qu'il chorégraphiera encore un programme pour Yuzu l'année prochaine, probablement le court. David Wilson a chorégraphié Notre-Dame de Paris et R&J 2 pour Yuzuru - clairement ses plus mauvais programmes, je ne me les revois jamais à vrai dire. Bon à la décharge de Wilson, Yuzu avait de gros gros problèmes d'endurance à l'époque et des soucis avec son 4Salchow. Et il ne parlait quasiment pas un mot d'anglais... mais bon on sent quand même bien que, même parfaitement exécutés, ç'auraient été des programmes très génériques et absolument pas "Yuzu". Par contre il a recommencé à chorégraphier pour Yuzuru cette année avec Notta Stellata :love: , et pour le coup c'est un très très grand succès - et Yuzu a l'air d'adorer ce programme. Shae-Lynn Bourne a chorégraphié Phantom of The Opera :love: , Seimei :love: et Hope and Legacy :love: . Trois programmes exceptionnels à mon avis, et très personnels pour Yuzuru - visiblement Bourne arrive à faire des programmes qui ressemblent à leurs interprètes, et non au chorégraphe (alors que Buttle fait quand même globalement du Buttle ^^). Je hais la musique de POTO mais c'était le choix de Yuzuru, et j'adore la chorégraphie ! Dommage qu'il n'ait jamais été parfaitement interprêté... Pour Seimei et H&L je crois qu'aucun commentaire n'est nécessaire :)

Bienvenue Yume ! J'espère aussi. Pas de Warhorse pitié (sauf R&J 3 ce serait tellement trollesque que je serais presque prête à l'accepter :rofl2: )... L'annonce des programmes de Shoma m'a fait facepalmer comme jamais :silent: Après, ça ne me semble pas improbable que Yuzu retourne voir Wilson - quand on lui a demandé quels étaient les programmes où il estimait qu'il exprimait au mieux son talent, il a mentionné Parisian Walkways et Notte Stellata... Je ne suis pas non plus une grande fan de Wilson mais Yuzuru a beaucoup gagné en endurance et en maturité depuis Notre-Dame et R&J 2. Il sait exactement le genre de programme qu'il veut, et est maintenant capable de communiquer à peu près en anglais. Notte Stellata était une réussite, pourquoi ne pas essayer de transformer l'essai ? Bon je me fais l'avocate du diable parce qu'au fond j'ai vraiment envie qu'il reste avec Shae-Lynn Bourne :smile:

Count me in for James/Cipres too, I didn't care at all about pairs before the Europeans but they got me hooked ! Then I discovered Sui/Han at 4CC, and now pairs are my second favourite category, behind men of course ! As for men... I won't be very original, but Denis Vassiljev really made me fall in love with him in Helsinki. He's one of those skaters you wish would be higher in the rankings, but can't because of the quads... it's frustrating. But he's still young, I hope he'll manage to get some quads at one point. (and higher PCs...) Jun Wa is sooo promising too ! I can't wait seeing him growing up as a "complete package skater" à la Orser. And I love MCM's Biellman spin. Sorry, Yuzu, but he's better than you
