There's a new translation of Yuzu's interview in the german magazine Pirouette on this Tumblr. 4Lz (or 4A XD) incoming ;) Of course we already knew, but I think he had never stated it yet so explicitely before now.

I only saw Yu/Zhang once, and I don't know Zhang well, so I don't know if I'm allowed to give my opinion... But I really didn't like him at all. He really just looked like a guy who was throwing his partner like a potato sack or something... didn't seem to care much for her, Idk, it was a weird impression. While Sui/Han and Peng/Jin have so much chemistry...

J'imagine que c'est une question de gestion des risques - on ne veut pas prendre le moindre risque une année olympique. Il y a aussi l'envie de plaire au grand public qui ne regarde le patinage qu'une fois tous les quatre ans, et qui serait plus réceptif aux musiques connues... Mais j'avoue qu'une des raisons qui m'a fait accrocher à PW et Seimei (les deux premiers programmes que j'ai vus de Yuzu), c'est justement la musique, le rythme, le fait que c'était moderne et bien loin de la musique classique poussiéreuse et lourde que j'associais jusqu'ici au patinage artistique... j'ai mis du temps à accrocher à Ballade parce que Chopin me semblait justement un choix hyper conventionnel - bon c'est maintenant mon programme préféré parce que la choré tient du génie, mais bon, à l'époque je ne le "voyais" pas encore. A mon avis Yuzuru ne va pas choisir un "warhorse" - ça ne ressemblerait pas au Yuzu d'aujourd'hui qui a atnt envie de s'exprimer à travers son patinage. Par contre ce sera probablement une oeuvre un peu plus dramatique, un peu plus facile à appréhender, qu'H&L et LGC.

There's nothing official, but : - Max Ambesi has tweeted that he's had reports of Yuzu landing 4A at the cricket club a few months ago. He's usually a reliable source. - Miki Ando said on japanese TV that she had seen Yuzu land a 4A. She could well have seen him at TCC one day she was visiting Javi... - Brian Orser has said in interview that he was absolutely SURE SURE SURE he would see a landed 4A in a very near future (you can bet he already has but can't tell anyone) - Yuzu has claimed his love for the axel all year and said on TV he was pretty sure he could land it - and honestly, when has Yuzu said he could do something he couldn't ? :devil: But of course, there's no footage, no official announcement, we know nothing about quality of said jump, nor success rate ... so we can let our imagination go wild
