Thank you, mods and admins, for working on the issues, and please don't be sorry. I'm seeing Error code: EX-1 when I try to access PH from the top page, but I can somehow access each forum and thread from "Activity" "Our Picks" tabs and my bookmarks.

I heard that general customers cannot stay at the hotel during COR, so hopefully, he won't be bothered by them once he gets inside. Hope he can take a good rest.

Hey, even in this video, he carries a bag of letters and presents!

What made me his fan was not his face or skating, but his spirit that came through his skating. White Legend in NHK 2010 was the first performance I saw of Yuzu, and I loved the way he tried to show the swan in his mind without any fear even though it was his first senior competition. I also loved the way he went into the 3A, with no hesitation, like nothing. So I don’t know if I loved him as an athlete or something else, at first. However, when I started following FS more closely (he was one of the biggest reasons,) I soon realized that I needed to learn more about the sport, because otherwise, I could not appreciate what he and other skaters were doing. Like, they all dedicate their life to skating and they are given only a few minutes to show the result of their effort, several times in each year, and not every performance is recorded and seen by many people. If the audience doesn’t care about what they really do, how cruel is it for them? Even if you start loving a skater not because of his/her skills, you cannot stay purely ignorant about them when you care for him/her too much, I think. When someone who loves FS says that some fans love a skater simply because of his/her looks, I seriously wonder how he/she loves FS or a skater. As for things happening regarding GPF, Nats, the magazine, I have nothing to say. Some of the things happened during 2012-2014 seasons were truly sad and ugly, but those skaters who loved what they were doing survived and bloomed in their own way. So I want to trust Yuzu who loves figure skating and support him.

Yeah, when I saw the embroidery on his new costume, the first thing that came to my mind was a Chinese phoenix’s long tail.

Putting it in the skater's gift box is probably the best option to deliver your letter to Yuzu. Because we can see him and his team bringing back the bags of letters and gifts in various news clips aired after various competitions. Even when they can’t bring back all the stuffed animals, they take time to pick up the letters attached to them and make a list of address of the senders, and again take the time to reply each of them, even if it takes years. I know this from seeing various examples. JSF also transfers the letters they received to Yuzu, as Brian said in his interview. However, sending a letter via JSF would take a little more time because they would wait until they have a certain amount of letters until they send them to TCC. I’m sure he would appreciate the letter from you.

This is a thread to sort out various news footage regarding each competition in which Yuzuru Hanyu participated during 2017-2018 season. Note: -Please do not reply to this thread as it is made to make it easier to find videos regarding each competition. (If there is any correction, suggestion, question regarding this thread, please kindly PM me.) -However, for many reasons, I will not attach the title of the program to each video. Sorry for inconvenience in advance. Hope that the information in Timeline and Contents will help to find the video you are looking for. -Please do not quote any post in this thread in other thread or elsewhere. ETA on Jan. 6, 2022: Checked and updated the lists of the videos for ACI2017, COR2017, NHK2017, JNats2017, and in the first seven posts about PC2018.

Thank you. I haven’t finished the table I want to copy and notes to attach it yet, so I’ll try to figure out a reason myself too. Maybe it happens when I overwrite a post or attempted post. Anyway there’s no need to hurry. Thanks!

If the onigiri is home-made and made without being touched directly (like using cling film) it’s better be eaten in 6 or 8 hours I guess. If it is from a convenience store, it will last a little longer because it contains preservatives. In either way, please don’t keep it too long. Hoping that your friend has already eaten it.

Sometimes it works, but sometimes not, like I can only paste texts included in the table.

Q: Is it possible to copy a table I posted in a thread and post it in another thread as a table, including its contents like links, etc.? (like making one in “Test Posting Messages” forum and post it in “Translations and Media”)

Sota seems to have finished his FS doing only single jumps, as he did in SP. However, many fans on twitter say that his performance was expressive and beautiful. He skated in Chubu block championships, a regional competition as @kaeryth said in an earlier post. All the 4 skaters skated here are qualified for Nishi-Nihon (Western Japan) Championships, a qualifying event for Nationals, so Sota must have participated in this event in order to secure the chance to skate at Nationals even if he had to avoid things that would worsen his condition. Last year, a skater participated in Tokyo block without doing any jumps after coming back from injury, and later participated in Nationals doing triple jumps and double jumps. I think Sota is trying to come back, carefully doing what he can do now. I’m wishing all the best for him too!

How about this? Boléro by Hiroaki Sato in Dreams on Ice 2015 Youtube In this video, you can see Yuzu giving a standing ovation to this performance and even trying to imitate a significant move in it.(See from about 1:15 mark) If you can't see this one please try this link, though this doesn't include the standing ovation.
