Re: how Yuzu moved to Toronto, this is how Noriko Shirota described: You can read a translation of the whole chapter regarding Yuzu on this planet thanks to @norwhite. According to Ms. Shirota, they were planning to move to Toronto together from the beginning considering his asthma. I don't remember reading or hearing "First, Yuzu went there alone, and Brian called his mother later" episode in any interview myself. However, since this is not the first time someone mentioned it here, there might be other versions of Yuzu-coming-to-Toronto episodes from other people. Many people live alone having a chronic disease, but it doesn't mean it is easy or ideal, especially when they are away from their family and friends in a country where people don't speak their language. Also, it is not rare to find a top athlete who doesn't have such a health problem receiving such support from their family in order to bring out their best in competitions.

There must be countless photos that captured beautiful Yuzu so I would randomly pick this one from last season source

Kevin's 3As Euro 2017 SP (Ina Bauer into 3A) IdF 2017 FS (Ina Bauer into 3A) Skate Canada 2018 SP (Back counter into 3A) Skate Canada 2018 FS (Spread Eagle+Spread Eagle into 3A+2T) NHK 2019 SP (Walley+Back counter into 3A) GPF 2019 FS (Fan spiral into 3A+2T and Ina Bauer into 3A) And OT but this is when TV Asahi failed to film rare SBS back counter 3A by Yuzu and Nobu.
-
Nobu did land backcounter 3A during FaOI2018 tour. He also did SBS backcounter 3A with Yuzu as well but it probably wasn't filmed properly.

Yeah. But the number of cases is gradually increasing after the state of emergency has lifted, so I am not sure if everything goes as planned.

That's "World Figure Skating Championship 2014 Osaka Exhibition." (OSA is an abbreviation of Osaka, maybe? I'm not sure) It is an ice show held in Osaka shortly after Saitama2014 starring many skaters competed at Worlds and Olympics that year. And sorry about my post you quoted. I overlooked the youtube video @SitTwizzle shared and wasn't correct about the jump Yuzu did at the end of GPF2013 gala. (He did 4T-3A-3A there, not 4T-3A-3A-3A)

As Mao revealed lately, her Thanks Tour is going to resume in August. The organizer released the info about the first show in Shiga yesterday, and the release was full of protective measures one could think of. https://maotour.jp/ -First of all, only residents of Shiga can buy the ticket, and they should register their name and address in Shiga along with the ones of the person they'll accompany. The buyer should bring their original ID that can certify their address. -To follow Shiga's policy on preventing the spread of the virus, they are going to sell the seats leaving space (could be empty seat/seats) between them. -They will take everyone's temperature upon entering the venue. Anyone whose temperature is higher than 37.5 degrees cannot enter the venue. -Anyone shows a symptom like high fever, cough, a sense of fatigue, a sore throat, or have lung disease should refrain from coming. -All the attendees should wear masks. No one can enter the venue without wearing it. -They should sanitize their hands upon entering/leaving the venue. -They cannot talk or cheer loudly at the venue. -They cannot bring gifts or letters for the casts. -The organizer may ask the attendees for a staggered entrance/exit from the venue. -The venue will be sanitized for each show. -No eating, drinking and smoking at the venue. There will be paid live-stream of the show as well. Since this will be the first ice show in Japan under CV situation, it will be a benchmark for future figure skating events in Japan. Hope they will be successful in protecting everyone participating in their show.

Image of Javi just skating there may be enough to remind people of how precious and how fragile they are. But the rink serving as a rink probably means the situation is getting a little better now. I hope it will get better enough for Javi to bring his show there someday and fill it with happiness as he did in Sendai last year.

Message from Koshiro: "I am back in Switzerland since 19th last month and has resumed training. I am skating and in good health. We still can't relax due to coronavirus, but I am going to stay positive and do my best in what I can do and what I have to do at the moment. I appreciate your continuous support."

The sources are Josei Jishin and FLASH. The very magazines that published shitty articles that implied she moved to Canada to be with someone two years ago. I wonder how they could interview her or how she could allow them to interview her. Anyway, they are both tabloids.

The Facebook message isn't new though? That's the same message they posted on the news section of their crowdfunding site on June 19th, and I wrote the post you quoted after reading the message and seeing that there were still items using photos of Japanese skaters on their CF site. You can find the link to the crowdfunding site once you click on the first link I posted as sources.

https://ameblo.jp/oda-nobunari/entry-12607653301.html Nobu is going to have surgery on his left knee this week. He has been feeling pain in his left knee and working on strengthening his left leg while staying at home, but since the condition of his knee didn't improve, he consulted with a doctor and made this decision. He says it is not a major surgery, and he will be able to leave the hospital in a day. Praying that his surgery and recovery will go well! ETA: Fixed a typo

Missed the 2019 FaOI party due to a headache, but the TV looks awesome! Must be nice to be able to chat using familiar emojis and without logging in another site

That's the one he did in the same venue, but 5months later, at GPF2013, during the finale of the gala. That's the jump he did in World Figure Skating Championship 2014 Osaka Exhibition. Unfortunately, the 4T+3A+3A+3A+1A in FaOI wasn't filmed. But you can find fans' reports on twitter if you search by ”4T-3A-3A-3A-1A. ” It was exciting and scary at the same time to know his 4T+3A+ series evolved in a week because he was severely injured in March and didn't look fully recovered at the beginning of June... ETA (7/2/2020): I'm sorry. I realized that I overlooked the other video (the one from youtube) and also shared the wrong info about his jump in GPF2013 Gala. The jump sequence he did there was 4T+3A+3A, the same as the one he did in DOI2013.

@yuzuangel Here are the past events that happened sometime around July I could think of now. If there is anything usable, please use it. There is a show called Dreams on Ice held around this time of the year, and after its last leg, there is a party in which skaters show up in yukata. The photos of Yuzu in yukata are from this party held until 2015. (He hasn't participated in the show after that) The one with Javi is from DOI2013. The ones quoted in fan blogs are from DOI2014. The ones quoted in aliajackson's Tumblr are from DOI2015, released in アイスショーの世界 in 2015. The one he stands against the bamboo themed wall is a fan-made collage. A few more from 2015

Yup. This person said there were still five watches remaining in stock, and then tweeted three hours ago that there were only two left, so it is highly likely we missed the chance!

I am glad that these nominees didn't have to sit on the stage and wait for the results. I don't understand why some people thought this was a good idea. IIRC, even Brian supported this event, but I wonder if he ever imagined how he would feel while sitting there with other top coaches and waiting to be judged. I won't watch the virtual event either. There is no need to follow it live anyway.

*At 4CC2017 gala, Yuzu planned to do double three turns into 3T in Notte Stellata after the delayed Axel, but could not land it cleanly since he had not practiced the layout. This is the conversation with a TV director from Fuji between his EX and the finale. Yuzuru: That was a terrible EX... Director: (Laughs) Take it easy. It was an EX... Well... (Jokingly) Then, you're going to rehearse the EX? Yuzuru: No, I've rehearsed it! I've been rehearsing this program! Director: Right. Haha... Yuzuru: Gosh... Director: Relax. You know, taking part in two events in a the day is... (T/n: Gala was scheduled after men's FS) Yuzuru: Tough. Yeah. Director: You've taken part in the morning practice as well, and practiced quite hard. Yuzuru: The triple toeloop was so tricky. Director: (Laughs) Yuzuru: I should have done 3F instead. I should have done the jump I have practiced. (T/n: I guess he means 3F entered from double three turns here) -----------edited--------------- Yuzuru: (Sighs) It was terrible. I can't get over it. Director: (Laughs) Yuzuru: Oh no. It has made the kuyashii-ness I was feeling about my FS go somewhere. Director: It's OK. -----------edited--------------- Yuzuru: ....It's OK. I have another chance. One more chance. In the finale. *In the finale, he attempted side-by-side 3T with Patrick Chan and Shoma Uno and successfully landed it.

Yuzu'll be back II and the Hochi's photobook are a bit different from normal books. I think it will be difficult to find them in book stores when you visit Japan later. Yuzu'll be back (the one released last year) is now sold at a premium price at Amazon JP. It's probably the cheapest and easiest to order them online while you can buy them at the original price.
