  1. A transcription (or a summary?) of a recent interview with Tessa Virtue. It's a long thread but interesting. This is the interview? https://www.womenofinfluence.ca/event/tessa-virtue-2020/ Not directly related, but this is cute. I love the teacher's comment at the end.
  2. Their FD? Not sure but can't wait to see the whole program
  3. It seems that you can vote from this site by clicking on "応募フォームはこちらへ” on this site if you have a google account. I haven't tried to vote myself though. There is a message from Yuzu on this site: https://wmr.tokyo/beauty/2020/10/111353/ "A costume has a huge role in representing my program and telling its story. It also represents Yuzuru Hanyu. All my past costumes are precious to me since they carry the times and the moments I performed wearing them engraved in them. I am very excited to see the costume chosen by your votes exhibited and be able to share such moments again with you. I am looking forward to seeing the result!"
  4. Mitsuki Sumoto at Kinki Championships. Is this his costume for "The Mission" free skate? (I could not watch his program last Sunday) Beautiful. Congrats, and thank you for coming back, Mai! Congratulations to Kaori too! Mai's costume was so beautiful... thought of personified flowers in Ernst Kreidolf's works.
  5. The forum looks so new 😳 It somehow makes me feel nostalgic, probably because its newness reminds me of the very first week of the Planet... To those who find the forum glitchy, aren't you guys using an older theme? Because the same problem occurred to me, but it got solved when I switched to the default one. The forum looks fine with the default theme Now we can read the embedded twitter more easily, and the activity tab on the personal page looks convenient 😊 Thanks, admins, for your hard works! I miss the edit button, though... We can make a correction or amendment by quoting our own post, but it would be convenient to be able to edit a post when you maintain a compilation thread, etc. Can we have them back?? ETA: Oh yes! We can choose "edit" from the options button in the top right of our post! Thank you, admins, and @Figure_Frenzy! Now I can fix my grammatical and all the other kinds of errors hahaha
  6. Men's and Ladies' 6-minutes warm-ups at Japan Open uploaded by TV Tokyo. (They are probably sharing what they didn't air on TV today) Please take a look at everyone's costume and how the venue was used if you like.
  7. Rika's 4S from her practice yesterday. She says she'll work hard every day for IdF. (Now I wonder what plan she has for after IdF and later in this season...)
  8. Hey, Nathan took part in Japan Open, but he is from Team USA From Kinki Championships Wakaba's 3A attempt at Japan Open
  9. Snippets of men's performances from Japan Open Sota Hiroaki Sato Ryuju HIno Ryuju said that he is considering retirement after this or next season, and this will be his last FP. https://www.sponichi.co.jp/sports/news/2020/10/02/kiji/20201002s00079000364000c.html
  10. He is one of the top Pairs' coaches, isn't he? He had probably coached most of the recent Japanese Pairs skaters at least once. Gosh...
  11. I haven't watched anyone live today except Yuna Shiraiwa for having to cope with a headache Yuna fell on her opening jump but her East of Eden was a beautiful program! She finished her performance with a big smile. Her jumps and scores today: Missed Sota, Mai chan, Kao chan... but at least Mai sounds happy in her comment. She says she was excited to hear her name called before her performance, feeling that she had come back at last. She has been landing all the triple jumps except 3A since August. https://hochi.news/articles/20201003-OHT1T50082.html Her jumps and the scores today Kaori's I saw Sota's gorgeous new FP costume on TV Tokyo's twitter but somehow they deleted the tweet...
  12. Thank you for translation As to the comment from Yuzu, yes, the Chinese translation is a bit different from what he said. He said that the watch made him picture stars in the sky full of stars staying close to him since the title of the song can be translated as "Hoshi furu yoru (Starry Night)" in Japanese.
  13. ETA: I am not sure exactly what happened since I cannot read Russian, but it seems something was wrong in the article quoted in this tweet, so KOC took it down and published her original comment without editing in a new article.
  14. Well, there is nothing much to add to @Ladysci's summary. However, the OP seems to have contacted Citizen Japan instead of Citizen China, and they politely replied that they didn't have stock for the Japanese market and asked for understanding. The OP seems to have shared their reply not just to share the info but the way they acknowledged Yuzu's achievements and popularity in China. The Japanese fans I have seen were reacting to the watch mostly the same as you international fans--fascinated by its design and ideas put into the details, had the slightest beef with the fan art, found it funny that Yuzu wasn't cooperating to act like fans' virtual boyfriend, watched how the first sale quickly ended, etc. I really love its design, although I would love the band if it looked more like a bracelet. I personally love the sky and the pink cloud on its face because I find it romantic that they chose the beginning of a night than the starry night itself, and watery blue and pink reminds me of the color of the ribbon for the medals at PyeongChang. I love wearing wristwatches, but the watch isn't my style, so I would not buy it even if I could, but I would love to take a look at it in person. Sad that I wouldn't have a chance...
  15. I am so glad that Rika didn't retire and came back with this program. She doesn't look fully back in shape here, but the program already has many memorable moments. Looking forward to seeing its complete form... and a fierce-looking 6minute warm-up with Rika-Motoko and Kaorix!
  16. Tokyo Nishikawa "&Free ボクだけのまくら" (Pillow for my own) 2020
  17. Thank you, @Henni147, for all of your hard work in organizing the page and the project as a whole! I am happy to have been able to be part of it, and looking forward to seeing it expand from here. By the way, I found someone quoted quoted the Wikiquote page Happy 6000 pages? Happy 6000 pages!!!!
