  1. Oh absolutely and I don't expect any quick success at all. But Plushy has this incredible drive, he's one of those people that make me think they're almost willing things to happen. My one gripe with him is that I wish he'd gone to school in this break and gotten some theoretical knowledge under his belt but still, hopefully it all goes as best as it can go. I mean Adelina will and won't be a good test case, considering everything so I'm going to keep an eye on the Juniors coming from there.
  2. It's very possible but the way he handled it afterwards was not right in my book. In general, I think it's actually very fair to be honest about things like these. Not all coaches can coach all students; even if they have numerous Olympic gold medalists it doesn't mean they'd be an ideal fit for everyone. Especially if we're talking about struggling mentally with some aspects of the skate, or even off ice. But as I said, how they parted was not pretty and I am sure did not help Gracie one bit. Fingers crossed she is in a good place now, at least from the few photos I've seen she looks happier so maybe the move to Marina helped in that most important thing. ______ On another note, I am both excited to see Jason's Hamilton and wondering how that'll pass with international audience.
  3. That does sound like r****ment! Well best of luck in the next parts of their lives :)
  4. I think Jun will get 2 without any problems for the GP. I am actually still not sold on him so I'm looking forward to seeing him in Seniors. My one wish is for the kid to not get insane tonnes of pressure on his head this season. Please.
  5. We are continuously growing which is the best thing! Knock on wood. :pbow: And I am very pleased about FaOI and not because we'll get to see him which is a massive bonus but because I do think it'll do him good in many ways. Yay.
  6. That's the one. I honestly wouldn't mind his usual black pants combined with deep, wine red. He'd look divine but of course it all depends on what music he'll be skating to. I have a feeling it'll end up being blue or at least partially blue in some way again
  7. Javier can have that one. You know, there's red and yellow on the Spanish flag. I am so sorry, I'm mean. But you know, depending on which artist they pick for the SP, if they go down the pop/rock road again, it could be any number of crazy things. I guess jazz is better in that regard.
  8. Oh breadstal, hello! I had no idea you joined us too! Welcome. And oooh, now that's interesting. Well he wouldn't be the first or the last to have a short summer time away from his primary rink, so hopefully he can pick up some good things for the new season. He's staying in Juniors one more year I presume?
  9. Weeeellllllllll ......... I actually agree but I think I'd bet him on trying post-Olympics just for the fun of it in practice. To see. I fully expect him to do the 4A then, in terms of serious practice and well, that's already 4.5
  10. Well with Oda talking about the Chinese guys possibly landing quints ... yeah, good luck to us all after the Olympics are over.
  11. I've been going through Javier's old programs and my bet is that he's bringing back this one The Mask of Zorro was his 2012/13 SP choreographed by DW. I do think DQ is probably the long, unfortunately.
  12. Thank you kindly! I really liked him, so I want to put him on my watch list. Thanks, thanks.
  13. Anyone remember the denim boy? I am completely blanking on his name and I could go through videos I guess but thought I'd ask first.
  14. Oh wow, those are wonderful. ^^ Same when it comes to the fave one but then all are great, black and white is my thing
  15. I am certain Wakaba is here to stay. Though I'd love to see her in the Olympics team, considering her age she will do another quad for sure, up to 2022. So much potential there.
  16. Plushy is very enthusiastic and rah rah, I am so happy to see him being this excited as a coach. And heck, he certainly knows more than I do. I so would not mind seeing that, let me tell you (the 2022 bit).
  17. Uh I don't know. She's completely out of shape but then it's really eh for me to speculate on what is happening, as we really don't know. I really, really wish she had left Frank sooner than that but no use crying over spilt milk, it is what it is. Hopefully she's still enjoying skating and Marina can help her out as much as possible to return to competitive shape, if she so wishes. It's early May, there is plenty of time. If not, then I just hope she reaches some peace and happiness with everything.
  18. Woo hoo, thank you , it's good to have confirmation and a new photo
  19. Definitely, Radio has got that one down! Here's hoping the jumps are fine, she did look in better form at WTT already so we'll see!
  20. Yeah, when ever I see that or this lovely Lambiel 2006 Turin outfit I have to wonder what they were thinking.
  21. That pose makes me go modern! in my head. Or at least not slow and calm.
  22. TCC updated the list with the World champions!
  23. *taps foot* No chatting  Once the 7 days elapse, so Tuesday, we'll enter phase 2. Then you lot can pick the cake, dresses, or whatever, music etc and of course we'll have to hash out the important thing called the date. But we'll do that as soon as the list is finalized, I'll update the thread title!
  24. Yes, it is surprising, and if true, then wonder if this was a thing that lasted, since it lead to a break up in that relationship? In any case, this could be a new, clean start for her, so it doesn't have to be a bad thing. I loved her SP this season, though I admit not a major fan of that LP so I hope she ends up with two good ones for this season! Here's hoping for some news soon (or simply an update of her ISU bio).
