He would have but it's also good for both him, and those other skaters he's not going. For him, because it would still require time to go through that mess, in the Olympics season and it's still a competition and for them, because they now have a chance of qualifying, while one place would have gone to him for sure. Good call from JSF, for once! (Dice had to go through it last season, it's when his injury completely blew up and he had to nix his season)

Yes, remember when he kissed her with Pooh? that was when. I was looking for what she gave him but it's difficult to dig out.
-
She gave him several things for his birthday during the GPF in France :)
-
The key-chain, he was still using it.

Ha, truth! And he's still carrying around hers so works out. I have been looking and there're even more photos of her there, so pretty!

It's hilarious Averbukh changed his mind after all the pomp about doing choreo for Zhenya only. But good. Now she can hopefully stray too Aww, Irene gloves. I wonder if Yuzuru sent her those, it would be so cute

Welcome, welcome and no worries, you did just fine! Take your time exploring, there is no rush at all. It does take a little getting used to but there's lots to talk about, Yuzuru and everyone else to start poking around and hope to see you around often :pbow:

That would actually be all kinds of awesome! (and would probably break all records on YT which is great for figure skating. King and Queen, very apropos)

Boyang is in Shenzhen, at an international cultural industry fair. Lil' video. He's so cute. He also did a live-stream, of course he did.

Favorite commentators and their famous lines

I do believe it's a play at fo shizzle ma nizzle expression, but he didn't really use it right, because that means 'for sure'. He did have some weird expressions sometimes -
Ok fair point, I give you that one! Then they can do a mock-pair skate at FaOI
-
Yuzuru would object, he has priority

Zhenya is indeed skating while on vacation. She's in Kyoto, this is Shoya Ichihashi, a pair skater Pic is too big so just the link Google translate says they practiced there and her aura as the queen of the world is amazing!
-
Yata is indeed incredibly glad!
-
Oooh Boyasha is working it! His face when he is "smelling" that milk is all blissed out. Good work. Get that money guys
-
Well, that's a lot of enthusiasm there but perfectly understandable; if I saw her I would be excited too

Ah hello junior boobskirt! Now we have this version to add to the leather one! Human nature. Some may truly feel like it's not a terrible idea (especially older costumes need to be looked at from that perspective) then some dare not say anything to their bosses, some really do not want to give their input because they believe they're not qualified, strict hierarchy in some parts of the world ... add all that up and we get a giggle or two every so often

Favorite commentators and their famous lines

"Turn your foot out here my dear!" He is but goodness, it's not like he was wrong. Ahh. -
Thank you Fay! I am not surprised she's switched, it is the Olympics season and Misha is still a very young choreographer. There's plenty of time for him and she's in such a tight spot with everything. Go get every advantage lady, fingers crossed.

Favorite commentators and their famous lines
Yatagarasu replied to Yatagarasu's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
When it comes to those who no longer commentate, have a favorite of mine, the gold standard indeed "And then a fall at the end of it, which was absolutely unnecessary and uncalled for" but so many good bits. -
I adore your diminutive forms! It's not just that there are so many variations but for the most part, to my ear, they sound so, so lovely! And to not get banned here's Alyosha skating for TAT during her anniversary show; .

Throughout the years, have you had favorite commentators or any particular piece of commentary that you have liked? I'm particularly partial to Mr. Ambesi, to whom we owe our lovely name, and his co-commentator Angelo, due both to their enthusiasm and the knowledge they share with all of us but I am also quite partial to the Russian ESP commentators, especially the 4CC 2017 commentary, where one of my favorite lines happened, when he compared Yuzuru's skating to him mastering a foreign language. I also am also always appreciative of those who take the time to properly appreciate athletes like Jason Brown or Misha Ge, who may not have quads but sure do grace us with wonderful skating.

Greetings and salutation from Planet Hanyu everyone! One thing that is often talked about when it comes to Yuzuru Hanyu is just how much he loves figure skating and how devoted to it he is with his entire being. When we created this home for all his fans, we thus in essence created a home for figure skating in general and for all fans of it, no matter who they support. One of the goals of this site is to promote the very thing he, and we, love so much - figure skating itself. This particular section of the site will be devoted to accomplishing that and we hope you'll join us as we talk, celebrate and cry with all the athletes, from all over the globe, during the years to come. Our hope is that in the future, when perhaps one day among the many other coaches we may see a familiar figure, this place will still be around, not only as an archive for his achievements but as a still vivacious, thriving place where those who are carrying on his legacy, and creating their own, have many, many fans supporting them on their journey. The forum is divided into two sections: - Igloo itself (please do not open threads here without moderator permission) - Skating Knickknacks - the new subforum you can see now (you're free to contribute anything and everything there!) Thank you!
