Glad I'm not on twitter...wait what? My AU ladies are known in Japan?! o_O Originally I based the ladies off of ladies from Chinese history, now it's making me think I need to research Japanese history and make them Heian based instead (but the blackened teeth is a bit meh).

I was thinking an instrumental version of Gabriel's Oboe, similar to Mai's cut this season, would work really well for him. I think @Murieleirum or someone else maybe was saying how it is harder to cut a classical piece into 4 minutes, so possibly less classical and more movie OSTs, possibly more rock and modern music since many may fit the 4 min framework?

I feel like that thread needs rejuvenation. next season men's LP gets cut to 4 mins, but there are a lot of nice music cuts from ladies and even ice dance that he could use (some of the dramatic choices from Anassina and Peizerat for example). It'll be a challenge to use classical, but he could maybe stick to classical for SP. *sigh La Campanella*

The music suggestions thread might be worth lurking in, since we had a lot of nice suggestions for program music. Though he might see the PW done to teletubbies video.

Whatever happens, Zuzu needs to remain as a lurker. Heck, I don't think the planet can produce enough smelling salts to go around and save everyone. (heck, I don't know if even I would live through that, and then there goes the person who would actually conduct the logistics to pass out said smelling salts) Edit: wait, if he's here, will I be forever known as the crazy lady with the weird AU things? First a harem, then the salarymen and now the children quads. GAH!

This week I'm a burning cactus-thanks JPN and Russian Nationals. Normally, I think I'm a norishing cactus? Especially if my AU muses go happy...let's see I've had the harem, the salarymen quads. What am I missing-oh right, the kindergarteners/preschoolers quads. Right, teacher Zu needs to go drag little 4Lutz out of the corner, and get little 4Loop to stop sulking.

I think that would be wishing for a bit too much. I've never heard of a skater actually posting or joining in a fan forum before. Has there ever been one?

There's a part of me that finds it amusing that he could do normal, grocery shopping. XD Well in Canada he could get away with it, but I can't imagine what would happen if he did it in Japan. Actually, looking at that photo a bit more, I don't think I'd really recognize him even if I tripped into him, he does look a bit more "normal-guy" like with glasses on and off ice.

What about the Hamyulla uncle? And the Yazunori side branch? It's like the Hyuga clan now.

Nah, it's got to be at least triplets now, there's also a Yuruzu Hanyu. Maybe he's like naruto and uses shadow clones to help speed up his learning process...that would explain his supposed progress with Nessie.

Oh there are definitely male Yuzu fans. I know a couple at my rink, but they are more likely to be somewhat spread out over all the guys, versus just concentrated on Yuzuru. I think for a lot of the guys I know, who like him, it's technicals technicals technicals. They are in love with his jumps and his atheleticism (quite a number of them know nothing of his injuries, they don't follow men's that much). There's a small split between him, PChiddy and Javi when it comes to skating skills. In so far as musicality goes, also split three-ways between Yuzu, PChiddy and Javi. But overall, they would probably admit to Yuzu winning out since on balance, he is the most stable, with a good balance between the hard technicalities and the artistry (and if they don't I'm not helping spot their axels for a week heh). And makes everything look so easy, too easy.

You could show her pairs or ice dancers. Especially the pairs females- they are such tough cookies, with some coming back from injury so soon to compete. Maybe if you add in some of the more "human" side of things she'll understand why you admire certain skaters. Start with non-Yuzu and then gradually build up the Yuzu stuff...it might be easier for her to like him, after she finds herself liking another skater?

Did that bottle serious say "Yuzu-it"? I don't think I recall Todd referencing other skaters ever...he's normally so quiet about competiting skaters.

Nice times in September...getting to see one of the best SPs ever live! But remember how he had a sore knee, could not practice, and everyone was worried to death if he could perform well? Well, bby broke his own record, again, on barely recovered knees, on a hard layout (well, I guess 4S could be considered a slight downgrade, but not much). Reminding us resoundingly to never ever count him out. It reminds us why we have faith in him, no?

Too much like 05/06 season. Well so long as he is happy at the end, I can smile at the end. Skating is not the same without him-and that says more than all the medals on his wall.
