  1. Uh, well it's designer purple track suits. And besides, 4Lo is publicly acknowledged as very pretty. =D He just needs to sulk a bit less in public events now.
  2. Oh nooes....the idea of an office of the quads as salarymen on a team, with Yuzu as the boss/head of office/GM/CEO of the Quad Express. 3A: The usual star performer, usually able to deliver on time, with great quality and attention to detail. Is said to have been one of the first guys to join the company. In business negotiations is capable of pwning all opposition-ruthless. A new special role of 4A is being created for 3A, so it may need to don that role from time to time, once the pay-grades, duties and promotion routes are cleared by the boss and his HR and finance departments (aka TCC/BOrser and Co). 4T: the reliable worker, also joined the company in the early founding days. Usually able to deliver above quality, though you can't let him go idle for a long time (otherwise he'll pop a bit on quality). Recently has been a bit bored due to work that demands less intellectual attention from him, since he equates that with under-appreciation for his years of amazing work. A bit of challenge and attention should be fine. Has 2 assistants-3T and 3S. Occasionally gets help too from the group secretary 1Lo. 4S: The feisty one, usually will argue with the boss on ideas it disagrees with. Not always able to deliver, but when he does, it is in style--though it will also mope in a corner and cause trouble if its brilliance is not loudly applauded. Slightly vain, but very good at the marketing and sales thing. 4Loop: Joined the team recently and wants to prove his worth to the boss, to the office, to the world, the universe, etc (you get the drift). Is on the marketing team, is also publicly noted for his general beauty (and sometimes his brains). Has a bit of a rivalry with the other newcomer 4Lz, and will sulk if he is not taken out to events frequently. 4Lz: another newcomer, though he was well known for a while. Rumors say that the CEO had been trying to recruit him for 3 years to no avail, and only recently has 4Lz decided to switch to this team. A rumored genius, but so laid-back and moody that he even causes the CEO to tear his hair in frustration at times-with some occasions leading to HR dept to step in to remind 4Lz who the boss is (so behave please). But when under pressure, 4Lz is brilliant. Has a rivalry with 4Loop, whom 4Lz refuses to acknowledge. 3F: a worker who caused trouble years ago, and after years of training under HR and the boss, is finally doing well. Is the silent, curve destroyer type. Currently 3F is wondering when and if there is finally an upgrading path for him too. Bring your pets to work day is tuesday of every week, while casual fridays have the guys coming in in track suits (though 4Loop usually has a bit of bling attached, and a strange fondness for tight purple pants-sometimes he will wear white too).
  3. ...you guys' fault. My brain had a quads harem, now it's also got a quads kindergarten, along with a quads office (with quads as salarymen) ideas running in parallel. Q_Q One idea at a time please?
  4. Bring your quads to work day? On a pet's allowed day?
  5. It's the mixed blood, red-head child that likes to sulk in the corner of the class....hugging a giant mass of pooh toys.
  6. So now his harem has both boys and girls? o_O this is going to be hard to draw man....wait, that's not a harem anymore, that's a freakin' kindergarten. Holy smokes, a quads kindergarten...no, no I got to sleep, no imaginary theatre stuff today. T_T
  7. I get why people are a bit pissed because it does ignore the severity of Yuzu's injuries, but to be fair, it does stick to the facts. And facts are facts- despite his FS usually being second, Chen has won his competitions. People are also kind of missing the last 2 sentences, which highlights that Yuzu is perfectly capable of missing nationals, and skating for a long stretch of time, only to come back and win (aka Helsinki 2017). The issue of Chen and his scores are an issue that most casual fans, or non-fs fans wouldn't bother to care about. And frankly, even some of the people commenting (in other forums and twitter mainly) have no idea what they are really arguing about. There are calls to do away with the entire COP system, when the real issue is that politics and other stuff are leading to people trying to morph the COP to the old 6.0 system. Lastly, generally fan favorites don't really stick with the scores even (Michelle Kwan, Sasha Cohen etc). I think Yuzu would argue to just let viewers decide for themselves- sure he may not have won against Nate in COR, but Seimei is still more stunning even to the casual fan. Same can be said of Javi's LP versus some of the quadsters at GPF. There is a charm to the skating that makes you think "ah, this is what figure skating is" rather than jump after jump after jump. Heck, even Kolyada succeeds a bit better than some of the top 2. Plus if any fan really wanted to know more about the quadsters this season, they can look up how they did in the GP series-that's what youtube is for. My sincere opinion is that no one can walk away from those events and think they truly "won." Not to mention the splatfest that was GPF: if I were to look at the men this season with unbiased eyes, and you asked me who I'd pick, I'd easily pick Yuzu, Javi, Shoma, Boyang and Jason. Reasons? Because they have qualities that stand out. Yuzu has a presence with his programs that forces you to watch, even with mistakes-it's still majestic. Javi's has charm, same with Jason (that spiral sequence is to die for). Shoma has my attention because he is consistent (though his artistry is not my cup of tea this season). And Boyang stands out because with both ankles injured, just still look at those jumps at SA. While I like Nate, I would wonder what the bruhaha was about.
  8. Yes, he probably will need to gradually build up to quads again, and will need to test out his ankles with singles and doubles. Low quality jumps probably means his jumps are not yet stable for competition yet, so I hope he isn't pushing it on jumps yet, small steps small steps will still ensure he climbs over the mountain in time.
  9. ....probably will, some kind of reassurance that he is okay and recovering for Oly. I hope recovery goes as planned for him.
  10. Happy birthday to Brian, the guardian collie of the TCC flock! Hope what was mentioned in past interviews, such as Yuzu smiling on the PC podium and Javi finally on that oly podium, will happen as you wished. You have planned , worked and tore hair out over your students, may your efforts be properly rewarded. Oh, and hopefully less hair shedding next year. Or if you must, it is out of joy rather than concern.
  11. You missed the bit where he went after Weir, and indirectly Yuzu, cause Weir did inspire quite a bit of Yuzu's costumes. Is this one of those people who has funny feelings when watching Yuzu skate?
  12. The critics who decide that "silent edges only" or the actual silent edges of Shizuka Arakawa? Speaking of which, I know that in ladies the silent edges type includes Shizuka, and I've heard Michelle Kwan get mentioned. But I'm not aware of any in the men's? Yuzu's probably not silent edges type, though the way he picks up speed feels pretty similar?
  13. This should be sent to anyone who doubts his edge quality. Those are not the sounds a shallow edge creates. Unless then, the critic is one of those "silent edges only" types.
  14. Like I said, programmed android bot poohs-the best solution for his health, our sanity, and Brian's hair. Anytime he tries to get out of the timeout box early, the poohs will hold him back in place.
  15. Almost forgot, given that my country sometimes will have customs inspect stuff, and I'm terrified of things getting lost en route just because it's foreign (going to or coming in), I'd rather not receive or send physical gifts.
  16. Well it looks like he stayed...10 secs longer in the timeout box. Not much, but it's an improvement!
  17. ....so Yuzu and lady 4F are, two houses both alike in dignity and all that? Or she has loved him for 1000 years yet no feelings have been reciprocated, so she now has to use forest critters to spy on him? Sounds like a prelude to war....
  18. I covet the knee bend and edges. So fast, and yet not even half his max speed...
  19. His antis can go drag themselves into the back of a dark dank alley, cry and bash their heads with trash can lids for all I care. No really- the fact that Yuzu is a great skater is commonly acknowledged in the FS world, commentators, other coaches alike. He is generous to a fault to his rivals/competitors, and above all, more nitpicky about himself than all of us combined. He is probably the closest we've seen to perfection in men's skating in recent times, and those antis are just not happy about it for one reason or another--and this is a broad dislike, not just Yuzu, it's just towards anyone that is touted as better than their personal fave. As for rabbits, well there are some crazy ones-who added catnip to the carrot diet? It's not just fanyus, most of the japanese public would be surprised if Yuzu isn't chosen. I mean...the North American equivalent would be if someone of Michelle Kwan's artistry and Rika's 3A in the current US ladies field, had to skip nationals because she caught a terrible flu right during Nationals. The USFSA would figure out some crazy way to get her to Olys, especially if she held ya know, 3 WRs that no one in the past 2 years has managed to beat yet. It'd be suicidal not to.
  20. It would be weird if she's capable of going to not send her...this season so far really feels like 05/06 cycle, where GPF really did not reflect the results at Olys. And then, ladies' side the gold and silver medalists in 06 didn't go to GPF. Hope Evgenia heals well, and slays in PC.
  21. question, for the quad ladies harem, do most people see them dressed in historical asian style, or fancy frufru western style?
  22. next year, know what, let's get him a bunch of poohs, programmed androids, so when he does stuff like try to practice while sick, those poohs can be remotely controlled to hold him down. We have enough programmers here to do this, right?
  23. Thanks for the clarification, Max is making me want to pick up Italian. Mika SS is probably level with Shoma and Nate, if his gpf ex is any indication (loved it btw, a very different side I would want to see more of). That thread eh....I exited Ninja mode to comment, but knowing.how sarcasm.is taken there, I am waiting for my infraction.
  24. Nah, it's halfway of week five, he should be fine. Scarier stuff have happened before.
  25. uh....Shoma SS is better than Nathan SS, look at the knees. I would like to see the logic too, especially if the real issue is just choreography. Wonder how that other place feels being called out like that....XD may I snicker in a corner?
