So, what are you listening to at the moment? Is it a hot new track, something that brings back fond memories or is it Carmen or the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack?

I'm back into K-pop and the Queen of it has just brought out a new track:

What about you?

I'm in a sappy mood so i've had this on loop:

I've been watching Yuzu H&L and that lead to Jo Hisaishi and then to this... Taro Hakase.

Have this on the loop for the past week.

Don't judge me, but I have been listing to it everyday for the past month.. It just won't leave me alone

I can't have a day without Bowie since as long as I remember

Well lately I just listened to the Classical World: Finland and Spotify Orchestra Cello playlists over at Spotify,  to only later return to...the Jacques Brel playlist...

A sampling of each playlist:

Classical World: Finland

Spotify Orchestra Cello

Jacques Brel

(PS: you might have heard this song when watching Carolina Kostner's SP last season (which was covered by Celine Dion) or Stephane Lambiel's tribute exhibition program to Denis Ten at the recent Carnival on Ice 2018)

Gregorian chant.  Work heading into its annual highstressandpressure month, I need calming and soothing music....

I got my music library on shuffle just at this moment it is on this song:

I'm a broadway nut.

Omg I love this song!! And I love the way he interprets the song!! It’s so beautiful it’s heart breaking! There’s an English version “ If you go away” by Terry Jack.

Love this song!

I love many things you guys have posted ❤️❤️❤️

I have been obsessing over this lately, we're supposed to sing it with a few friends on a choral version but one of the guys shared this version and I got lost within it.

Still with the K-pop

Such is the power of Jacques Brel . I was not too impressed when I first heard him, but once I saw a video with the lyrics' translation in the subtitle I got hooked right in. He has the power of musical interpretation in spades

So you might have heard the song "Seasons in the Sun" by Terry Jacks (him, or Rod McKuen, since he also often translated Brel's songs into English) — this is the original version, titled Le Moribond (the dying). Also heart-wrenching to say the least...

@Figure_Frenzy wow! Thank you! I didn’t know this song exists! Very heart-wrenching indeed, quite a bit different from Season in the sun from Terry Jack!

Have ve you listened to this song?
