I found IT an American Media article with out bitterness (as far as I can tell)

    Yes, this didn't have bitterness.

Oh I just want to pop in and say that on CCTV, they showed Yuzu hugging Boyang in the green/purple room. So he had hugged both Boyang and Nathan, just at different times!

Does a picture/video of that exist anywhere?

Internet connection died but I finally made it back to the planet. Pls excuse the incohent comment, I'm still emotional from Yuzu's FS.

    Spoiler

Today has been a magical day. The top men did relatively well, I'm so proud of them all. Good for Nate, he had his redemption skate and won the free. Boyang too, the boy skated great. Keep it up because your time to shine is Beijing 2022.

Fortunately Javi did not bomb after Yuzu. Instead he had the skate and the medal he wanted, so good for him. I don't want to think about him retiring  :tumblr_inline_ncmif7esGm1rpglid:

Yuzuru though, our magical boy. He created history again, with only GPF 2015 layout. I believe that the universe is compensating him for whatever happened in the first half of the season. He was so happy at the end of the skate, and omg those teary eyes and scrunchy face when they announced the winner. Precious boy, he skated to his heart content, he got his beloved gold, must protect him aT ALL COST :tumblr_inline_ncmif7esGm1rpglid::tumblr_inline_ncmif7esGm1rpglid::tumblr_inline_ncmif7esGm1rpglid:

And the podium hug at the rink side, that was so precious :tumblr_inline_ncmif7esGm1rpglid: Bonus BOrser's rendition of that 'you're doing amazing sweetie' memes :tumblr_inline_n18qr5lPWB1qid2nw: Let's be real, the true winners today are actually Brian and Tracy and Ghislain and team TCC, lol.

Lastly, let it be remembered that Yuzu and Javi edged out other quadsters with only 4S and 4T, to clinch gold and bronze respectively. Truly iconic.

I haven't see it popped up on my Twitter timeline yet, but it is here on Weibo, at 1:14 (They hugged twice! Yuzu pulled him to a second one right after the first one.)

    ETA: A better video:

at 4:45. The narrator said the hug happened when it was revealed Boyang had been surpassed in scores (so when he found out he wasn't going to podium).

:thanks: Yuzu is such an amazing human being :tumblr_inline_mm2wbaeqQM1qz4rgp:

I woke up now and I'm already checking the Planet to confirm that it was not a dream. YUZU IS THE GOLD OLYMPIC MEDALIST !:knc_tracy1:!! What an unforgettable night for all of us. I just fainted after the results and the medalists. I was very tired and moved, a big mess. It was the first real night's sleep for me, ever since Yuzu arrived in PyeongChang. My live stream failed at the time of the Yuzu FS. I screamed so loud, the neighbor's dog was scared and it barked a lot, because I'm very quiet. I became so nervous that I could not access another stream live, so I breathed and prayed for it during the minutes of your FS, shortly after I returned to the Planet to check the updates and shouted of happiness again: YES! HE GOT IT! :knc_tracy2:I followed the performance of Javi and Shoma through the Planet updates and anxiety remained until the Shoma score came up. Finally my heart can calm and the tears now was pure happiness. HE DID THAT! HE DID! MY GOD! MY GOD THANK YOU. THANK YOU DIVINE CREATOR! THANK YOU YUZURU! GOLD! GOLD! MY SON IS GOLD!:knc_yuzu1: :dpooh::sadPooh:I've always relied on your victory, but seeing it really happen is sure and unbelievable. I do not have words. I think Nobu's emotion and tears represent us all at that moment. It is AMAZING what our little boy was able to accomplish despite all the challenges that have come his way up here. All his effort had his return deserved. Congratulations Yuzuru Hanyu, the GOAT!:hachimaki:

THANK YOU YUZURU! CONGRATULATIONS! YOU DESERVE ALL THE HAPPINESS OF THE UNIVERSE. IT'S DONE!
THANK YOU PLANET HANYU! I LOVE YOU! WE SURVIVE! THANKS! :snpeace:

:sadPooh: I'm kinda hoping he skips the gala even if it means I won't die by swanning.

Trying to see the silver lining in this, "it could cost my career", so bby wants to keep going and that makes my heart feel a bit less squished.

Please heal properly Yuzu. We will wait.

Yes, I hope he heals. Even if that means more time off the ice, skipping gala, even Worlds... and  missing ice shows that will probably want every piece of him. The shows are not worth it if you are in pain and cost you the future you want.... (I harp on shows because i know how long and draining they can be in the summer for them after Olys).

This was my dream podium, and I think it was Yuzuru's dream podium. He absolutely adores Javi and is great friends with Shoma, so I think sharing this special achievement with them makes it even more special for him.
