What I find depressing is how little the general public knows and understands about figure skating. So many apparently think it's nothing more than a jump contest.

Guysss the truth is i was actually super scared when i saw he was so happy here. He looked like he’s ready to let go. Like this might be his last chance on the ice that’s why he wanted to enjoy it to the fullest. But I pushed back my thoughts and convinced myself that he was just so happy to be back. Omg how severe is his injury??? Like please give us the truth

I'd rather he skips worlds

I had a feeling this was the case from the way he looked after the win... There was an extra layer of... stuff there...

 

I'm going to worlds and I'll cry so hard if neither he nor Javi are going... but I'll go enjoy the Figure Skating he loves anyway, even if he's not there and I don't care as much for anyone else...

Well now I'm more curious if he had to take painkillers or not to skate. If not, then maybe the injury isn't that bad. It's still not fully healed, so he can't do loop or lutz, but it might mean it's good enough that some rest for a week or 2 more can help. 

On the other hand...wtf level of pain tolerance does he have? o_O
