Oh poor Zhenya  so close

(Tbh judges could have made either of them win if they wanted, they went for Alina. Given how probably Zhenya's Lz was probably not called I will make peace with this...eventually)

and I'm glad we won't have strange tiger as last gala ex, but a graceful swan

I wanted Zhenya to win but I was the most nervous during Satton's skate. So happy for Satton, almost got on the podium. And when Zhenya cried, I also burst into tears. Is she still injured? I'm fine with her getting silver (or rather, I will be fine), I just hope she's fully healed and not skating on painkillers (like that certain someone). 

Damn ... I know that Alina was technically the best but this feels so unfair for Zhenia ... after all these years of hard work ...damn ... so frustrating .... poor, poor Zhenia! 

the other disciplines were amazing so something had to be trash. law of equivalent exchange i guess.

I hoped for Meds to win this. Can't believe it's over. We've all been waiting for this for so long.

Right after Med ended the program i was like "game over". It was clear that she can't win with "clean" skates anymore. But Zagitova won't escape the "olympic champion curse" and is probably going to disappear after olys. I don't like both of them, so i don't care. Too bad for Satoko, no medal, but it was expected

Alina is about to find out what it felt like to be Tara back in 1998. Except for her it's going to be much, much worse.
