Just popped in here to review if it was worth it and gosh my heart hurts at those PCS. I'm so angry that Ladies are more popular and this is what happens. Obviously judges are looking to create headlines by rewarding an anointed one with a WR for the FS.

 

I thought I might find solace in the ladies field after Yuzu retires, but nope.

Writing Yuzu off 1 whole year before the Olympics, seriously... They were rather mean during this ladies event too.

That's just clear...if Alina skates clean no one will beat her, not even a perfect Zhenya...

Haven't seen the  skates yet but the results make me sad.....I love Alina and all ,she is a sweetheart ,a warrior and a talented skatet but.. I need an Olympic Champion who has built a legasy and dtill going strong!!! And it means Evgenia out of all contenders! She deserves it ,like Yuzuru deserves his second title...Ugh

Me too. It would be the biggest  injustice ever. And the thing is that their   placement  really depends on how PCS aee awarded... one point difference  PCS play  can do wonders.

 

This is so unfair.

Alina can do so much more but if she wins ehat's the point of doing more? Not everyone has the mindset of Yuzuru who does it for the sake of personal development and for the love to the sport. And mind insane Russian junior ladies who are a threat even to Alina.. This ladies winning OG at 15  and 16 have never developed a true legasy. 

Well, I'd certainly like to see if the top skate of the night makes any headlines for having wowed the crowd without any push by media or brainwashing.

 

*sigh* well I won't write off Medvedeva yet, since it seems kind of disrespectful if I start losing hope for her. I just want Janny to have a clean skate, the skate of her dreams, so come what results, she can be proud of her own performance, doing clean back to backs. =)

Honestly? Neither Alina nor Zhenya come close to Kaori in their jump quality. Can I have Kaori first then? 

I smell a GPF incoming....I hope that even with the Tech panel doing this, the japanese ladies can land someone in top 6.
