Today is the day. :smiley-scared005:

So far I have beeen extremely happy with the results of the podium. Hopefully the ladies goes well.

It's only Russia chance to get gold at this OG, so go girls!

I'd be cheering for Zhenja cuz she really grew in last couple of seasons as a performer and I feel that she skates with soul. As charming as Alina is I think she still has a big room to improve artistically (but I want her to do well too). Rotate your jumps Masha! Gaby, make papa Orser proud))) And good luck to the Japanese ladies!

I am undecided about staying up so late to watch the ladies since it is usually the one discipline that makes me angry about scoring. Is it really worth it to lose sleep only to get disappointed by the scores (which will definitely happen)?!! :/

Doesn't help that for pairs and ice dance my predicted silver ended up with gold which means Alina will win this and I don't want that to happen (sorry Alina, but I hate your programs)  :slinkaway:

I think i predicted V/M & S/M for gold as well as Alina but for that last one I really hope I’m wrong

I didn't wake up for ID, definitely won't for Ladies. I just know I'd be disappointed by the scores, so.

Still, good luck to all!

I just hope they all skate well and we don't see inflated marks for programs that aren't much better than what they have done previously... i hate that.

I am cheering for them all to do well, but mostly for Kaori, Alina and Kaetlyn... and Gabby, because Team Cricket is hitting so far at this Olympics...she's gotta bring it home now for the Team! (and Elizabet is injured, so I really don't want her to hurt herself more here by trying crazy things)

Since Bradie Tennell is skating first in the first group, I'm going to stay up to watch her. I'm fascinated not just by her un-American ability to successfully rotate and land her jumps but also by her coach Denise, who seems to do a lot of the things that they do at TCC.

Not sure about staying up for the rest because I need to get up very early tomorrow. Will definitely be staying up for their FS though.

You don't get disappointed and angry about the men's scores?  You are very fortunate. I wish I could say that.

I do get annoyed by the scores for the men but it rarely affects the results so I am fine with it, after all the men have more control over their fate due to the quads. The ladies on the other hand are very vulnerable to scoring manipulation and I have seen the underscoring and overscoring of certain ladies change podium placements and that makes me angry
