rippon is ok bc it's pretty, but tano is hideous tbh

Tano is just one hand right?

Some of these PCS make me dizzy which is the cue for me to go to sleep

I don’t think they should ban it, I think if you do it on every jump it shouldn’t count as “varied”

Absolutely--and if gets bad enough then we would need a Rippon-Zayak rule against repeated arm raises

And of course rules that discourage the extreme backloading that Alina does, or at least ding her on PCS

I guess we all saw this coming after Euros. Once that momentum train starts running at 90 mph there's no way to stop it

IMO the order should be:

Kaetlyn

Kaori

Evgenia

IMO.

any podium with kaori on it

lol I'm just really biased

Yes, and unless they're done really well, they are pretty hideous. Like a wobbly rooftop antenna from the 90s. Not the cute kind Yuzu has.

Wow. Is Zhenya her favourite student?

Anyway, I'm rooting for Zhenya all the way... hopefully she can do a good free.

okay, I'm outta here, see if I can get some more zzzzzs in spite of the noisy birdies

I think the rippon looks nice usually, gives a nice shape to the spin while jumping, but the tano - unless it's steady and well done, it should be dinged for sloppy execution.

reposting because it's obligatory at this point:

a foreshadowing if anything

Welp it's over. Alina has a higher FS PB and she never messes up the FS.

If Kaetlyn holds on anywhere near the podium, Satoko's URs will be called. Let's see what the skating order is like...

i think satoko and kaori are gonna skate before kaetlyn,bc it's the places 4-6 first and then the places 1-3 as far as i know
