The thought of that blue costume in that K&C is making me feel a little sick after everything today.

the Kiss and Cry for Olympics will be much better. We will see him there. Glowing.

After all, I think the Olympics are closer than we might realize... a year goes fast.

But after this, may I just dare and say that this will motivate Yuzuru even MORE so to continue after Pyeongchang?

He is so young, he may not realize it, but he is. He can go on and win another 4 consecutive GPF wins after this year.

Jason! <3 Bless him, he's such a sweetheart, and such a joy to watch on the ice. His SP is my favorite from this season, aside from Chopin, of course. And I think he did do the sign himself, he's learning Japanese, iirc.

Boy, I feel like I held it together when everybody was absolutely heartbroken when Yuzu withdrew, trying to be as calm and positive as possible because we really needed calm and positive, there was much freaking out. The usually calm and positive people weren't there.

But now that the short is done, I'm just about done, too. I could drown in a vat of stout now.

I feel a little bit better now because I just feel like it's a situation to accept, and nothing else. The alternative would have been worse. Think about longevity: ignoring injuries can also mean retiring earlier than normal. If this withdrawal means that we get to enjoy Yuzu more years (which I do think), then it can't be helped.

The only thing I'm slightly conscious of is that being in hospital sucks. Even if you have people close to you, visitation hours are limited. So I hope Yuzu goes back home as soon as possible. Hospitals are horrible.

The odds of him needing a hospital stay (as long as the seriousness of his injury doesn't suddenly get upgraded) are really low. I think he should be cleared to fly back to TCC soon, and he'll have the best attention and guidance there.

If he had to get injured, better now than later, or during competition.

9 Sergei VORONOV (RUS)
10 Alexei BYCHENKO (ISR)

I'm cheering for Keegan!!! I love his choreography in both programs and would love for him to skate well. You never know where you will land if you do your best!

Did anyone else watch the NHK broadcast of the event (I have TV Japan so just managed to catch it)? Cause uh to me Nobu just looked dead. I mean I know it's not a surprise. He's such a loving and emotional person and one of his close friends is going through hell (he may have even caught glimpses of Yuzu crying) so no wonder he's out of it. But still, he barely talked, barely nodded, didn't smile and only seemed to respond to anything relating to the Yuzu news but nothing else (maybe a word or two for a few skaters but not much and no elaboration). Akiko and the other announcer seemed to try and cover for him but when the guy who's always smiling is just staring soullessly into the camera it's kinda noticeable.

and Nam is popping and popping ... :sad4:

It means nothing, it's only warm-up.:consoling2:

I have the stream open but really can't get myself interested enough to actually watch it... I am totally emotionally drained :smiley-sad016:
