That only goes to prove what a good choreographer can do with a skater's talent...actually, wasn't that what Max said about Caro? That had she been with diff coach she would have won much much more (Okay, choreographer and coach aren't usually the same, but...you get the idea)

Jason Brown is a week younger than Hanyu.

oh you're right! his birthday is on 15th December, I always thought he's older  all this time...

It's the first time that Misha choreographed for Sergei and he did a really good job with both programs. It proves how talented he is. Both the choreographer and the coaches' work are equally important for a skater to be successful (besides many other factors as well, of course), so it's one reason why Sergei has a good season so far. Although he's had really good skates in the past, too. I remember him winning the silver medal at the Europeans before the Sochi Olympics. I was there and was happy for him, I thought it's a very good success at that age - it was his first medal there, and he was already 26 years old.

What a sweetheart he is. I made the impossible demand, and he still did it. He gave us joy. A sweet, kind, lovely, darling young man. And with the skating skills of a champion, if only he had the jumps! Rooting for you, Jason! Land that quad! You can absolutely do it!

 

ETA Oh, I'm no longer 3A. Just as well, I suppose.

Under nine for skating skills! I might lose that warm glow. Grrrrr.

 

I might not be able to punch the season or the 4lz but judges...

The thought of that blue costume in that K&C is making me feel a little sick after everything today.
