Think it was SE-3A-SE, 4T (he went 3T), 3Lz (was probably going to go 3T combo). So if we assume he will SE his first jump, it's possible for him to SE-3A-SE (or maybe he goes SE-4Lz-SE),  then 4T+3T, then 3A. Hmm, well if we're going to go less risky, I guess 4Lz--3A--4S3T/ or 4Lz-4S3T-3A.  Higher than a 4T3T but not as risky as a 4Lo3T?

Personally, that feels even crazier... new jump and already putting it in combos? ^^;

 

But I think 4Lo combo may not be such a stretch... it'd add extra meaning to his insisting on adding it last year... But no real idea... who knows what goes on in that brilliant head of his...

or 4lz // 3A and 4Lo3T

The layout is probably going to be solo jump (4Lo, most likely, or 4Lz, riskier) // 3A 4T3T.

Seriously though, how much can he or anyone rise their BV in the SP for next season anyway? I think that the real fight is going to happen in the FS with skaters going for 4+ quads, which is a huge risk on its own. So, having a safe SP that he has a better chance of skating clean is the smarter move. He did win his first OG with his SP after all.

I think there's a high chance Patrick will add another quad in the SP. Considering he got 102 with just 1 quad at worlds... well... it'd surely boost his chances up as a contender for a podium finish. And Yuzu winning his first OG with his SP is kinda the point.. in some sense he wasn't skating "safe" in 2014, because at that time he's got some of, if not, the highest BV around (let's thank his unusually good relationship with 3A). All in all I think pyeongchang will be super intense!

His solo 4S is stable as it can be, and a new combo with a familiar jump.

i dont mind chopin for the 3rd time as it is the program ive rewatch the most, but i hope he wont go for the CoC choreo bc the 15-16 choreo is better. the only thing i like in that is the aesthetically pleasing SE-3A-SE but i somehow want him to do back counter 3A for Oly bc its his trademark. anyway, i think it is still not decided yet. 

I dont think 4lo3t will happen, 4lz is enough.

More like 4lz// 3A and 4T3T then, how much is the BV if all level 4? Do you mind calculating? 

Guys, how about you take the layout discussion to the overall skating thread?

I wonder, though, if the Chopin choice was something he and his team had been thinking of for Olympic season already or if was a result of his troubles with the SP this season?
