After reading 34 pages of thread, at the end a long day, in the middle of the night, I'm a bit confused and sleepy  But I'll try to put my toughts together 

The moment I knew about Chopin 3.0 I didn't know what to think, because I wasn't expecting Yuzu would make this choice (I was ready to see a fabulous new SP next season). After watching the Chopin clips from FaOI and reading all the comments, I can say that I trust Yuzu's decision and I want to support him as always. Obviously today's layout is not the one we'll see in a few months, but I loved what I saw (especially that 4T3T perfectly in accordance with the music ) and I love his past Chopin programs.

As others have said, maybe with this SP Yuzu can feel more confident to work on the new layout. At the same time I think that choosing it is a great challenge, because Yuzu has already reached perfection with this program, so, as @Murieleirum said, it's like he wants to break through his own limits and go beyond perfection.

I think we should all calm down a bit and wait, even if it's not easy. It's only May and we should trust Yuzu and his team, they have a lot of time to work. And hopefully in the next few hours, with the interview, we'll have some news directly from him

On a more serious note. SP news were shocking to me at first, but now I feel more calm. After all we haven't seen the final version yet. 

I've heard someone say that he goes Patrick's way, but it  is not exactly true,  he is not keeping his old layout. Upgrade is the only reason to return to an old and perfectly skated program.

It's early morning here, still no breakfast, checked out the PLANET. When I scrolled down, I saw this. Bless my soul-- I cried out "Ay sus Ginoo ko!" I think all will depend on TES - if Yuzu delivers judges wouldn't cut him down (too much) whatever he skates to.

I'm not sure about 4Lz - in the beginning he'll have to jump it from the SE or after in the second half - it's all too risky.

Oh, and I'm all for a 4T combo if it means stable results (or mybe it's just bettter in terms of timing)

At first smiley Yuzu, then Chopin, then GP news  Firstly, I was a little disappointed about this new/old SP news cuz Jeff and Yuzu have wonderful collaboration and it's a pity that we have only 3 programs by them in 6 seasons. But if Yuzu likes this programme to the point of skating to it for the 3rd time, if it will give him confidence he needs, then OK, I'll enjoy this amazing programme one more time))

I feel the same, I was so flipped yesterday hearing he will reuse chopin again  but now that I can think clearly after having a good laugh this morning, I am confident yuzu has great plans for this and trust in his decision fully! And shirota-san also said he will try different layouts during these ice shows so maybe we will see another variation on chopin at tonight's FaOI!

I got up 8 hours ago and found 50 pages here...mind-blowing! Too much news!!! I went through all the tweets from newest to oldest then went through the 50 pages here from oldest to newest until now... seriously, up and downs, I am  and could not focus on work.

 

Chopin 3.0 sounds so scary at the beginning because like what you said Judges might not like it any more...but they also cannot give out a low score if Yuzu delivers. tbh, if everyone delivers, Judges will give Nathan, Shoma and Javi all the candies, and they cannot make Zuzu's score lower. It will be a battle of BV. Thanks god, there's still hope to see 4Lz.

One more thing,  Chopin is like PW, they are blue, they are consistently breaking records! At least in the current FaOI layout, it is the same as PW (4, 3A, combo). It will be a great ogg program.superstition (4t3t at the end might not be a problem. I don't know why I get the feeling that he can YOLO it in the program. But it will definitely be a problem for fans who watch it.)

 

Not sure why my input method changes Yuzu to Zuzu...but I am gonna keep it there  Did anyone answer the question of why he is called Zuzu here?

Edit: just figured out there are another 50 pages in general thread...

Today is day 2 of the performances....can we get more abs please?
