I think they wouldn't mind it. They are more conservative than the fans and if they loved it in both seasons, then it should be ok for them for the third time too - especially with a different layout, choreo and music cuts.

if the ideal skate was Chopin... then he took the literal path of making perfection better by skating beyond perfection.

That's more than simply being ambitious... that's something I'd expect from Yuzuru.

I wouldn't mind that much Chopin 3.0, that is a gorgeous program, and I am sure it would mean that he'd upgrade the layout, change the choreo (and maybe the music cuts would be different too). He loves the program and so do the judges too, which is important in the Olympic season.

The only thing which is disappointing if he made this decision because he lost his confidence in SPs after this season.

1st at GPF, 3rd at 4cc, 5th at Worlds, 7th at WTT. After all it is understandable why he keeps Chopin. But is it a winning strategy ?

Honestly I feel disappointed hearing this... and if it's because he lost his confidence due to LGC I feel even worse. That's not the Yuzu I know. As much as I am 100% against repeating LGC for olympic season, that would actually be more "Stubborn Yuzu" style, compared to going Patrick style and repeating chopin for the 3rd time.

If he does this to add the 4Lz then I'm fine.. but if he downgrades the layout... I really don't get it. Doesn't seem like him.

Does anyone know the layout he performed at FaOI today? And did he do well? I hope he'll discuss this at the interview tomorrow... I need to hear his thought process.
