I think we are making a huge storm here. I believe he is not going to debut the intended SP right in this first show and he definitely knows what he needs to tackle for this coming season. Let's hear from Yuzu first about his plans for the Olympic season and then we can all start to lose our hair like Brian... 

Yeah. Like I said, I don't think this is the final iteration. He's had no time to do a new layout with Jeff. Prolly just feeling it out with the ice shows..

The layout he did seems to have been 4Lo (he popped) 3A and 4T3T, which is why people are saying he'll go for the initial Chopin 1.0 layout, with 2 jumps in the second half, only the solo quad this time will be 4Lo. Leaving a quad combo as the last jump kinda stress me out. So the BV is higher than LGC?

I hope he puts in a 4Lz for the free then to compensate for this... I want to see fighter yuzu come out! I agree that playing too safe is not such a good idea. I wonder what the japanese fans think about this. And I'm hoping that he'll read what we're saying and change his mind?

I was already nervous for the upcoming season but this is actually stressing me out. I'm worried for him. It seems like such an out of character decision.

Im also not sure about using the same music and relying on him going clean (since it seems like hes been emphasizing this) to get the points he needs 

This gives way too much room for the judges to justify keeping the point difference small and leaving things up to chance 

I really hope he rebrands his chopin 3.0 to make it seem like a new program, maybe just inspired by 1.0 and 2.0

You guys need to calm down a bit, you are over reacting.. This is Yuzuru we are talking about, he is always ahead of everyone (including his own coach) when it comes to planning, so I trust him to choose what is best.

 

Have faith in him, he knows what he is doing.

As I said, I don't mind the whole repeating Chopin so much if it weren't for the idea of him abandoning the 4S3T combo in the SP, since I feel like that'd be admitting a defeat for him. Last time a combo had the better of him, he added a quad instead, but here he is basically downgrading the combo. Unless he'll eventually bring 4Lz as his solo quad; then it may be justified.
