If it's true and the layout is accurate as well then it seems like he's going the Patrick road for olympics and we all know how that worked out

Tbh I always want him to skate Ballade at Olympics. But I'm not sure about using it for 3rd time 

I trust him. He's planning something for his FP if he's keeping an SP. Also, he's been planning/thinking about the 2018 Olys since he won Sochi. He has probably studied everyone's potential BV. Let's also remember that this s not the final iteration of his SP. There might be ongoing changes we're not gonna see yet.

If he chooses Chopin, I bet he will go with a new jump. I recalled he said the last season was hard bc he needed to get used to new jump and new choreography. So, if he sacrifices the time and adjustments he needs to learn for new choreography, doesn't that mean he wants to have a new jump??

Well, I totally understand why he is repeating Chopin if the info is correct. It indeed is his best short program, and judges adore it. Tho the only question bothers me that how it would affect judges when he skates to it for third season (don't really think judges would care that much

Yep, I guess this is Yuzu's and his team's reply to his problems with SP this past season. Let's wait and see. If there are different music cuts or choreography, it's not too bad. I'm just sad about the combo downgrade because it's as if he's decided his initial goal of edge jumps only in the SP was an unsuccessful idea and gave up on trying to make it work. Even if the combo is supposed to be the last jumping pass, it's still going back on something. My hope is he makes this up with an amazing LP with 4Lz.
