How is it that he looks smaller than in his Pyeongchang pics. He’s not even surrounded by burly bodyguards this time yet he still seems dwarfed by the people around him.

 

Anyway it’s so good to see him. I was almost half expecting him not to show

Tbh, lack of audience is really affecting too. Everything looks like a mediocre level C competition in a an abandoned stadium. And all the skaters are mostly focusing on landing the jumps. I have yet to see a real skating or memorable performance in there yet. Underwhelming.

Agree that the Olympics figure skating feels underwhelming so far.  Thinking back to 2018 Yuzu’s skates (both SP and FS) and Tessa/Scott’s free dance, the atmosphere was so electric!

Yep, even without the audience factor so far all of the performances I've watched from the team event are just. Meh. They feel utterly forgetful. Like, I enjoyed Wakaba, Kamila was good but overscored, and I didn't mind Yuma's but none of them really had a wow factor I feel
