How disappointing :14066882::13877886: I'm now having mixed feelings about her because I've always loved and supported her.

I did see her on another programme trying to explain to a Russian audience why non binary and gay people are just people and should be respected, and that's admirable from such a young woman given the seeming lack of tolerance for people in terms of gender identity and sexuality.

Maybe all commentators have been told to hype Nathan - Javi was also gushing.....they all want to survive in a post competition figure skating world I suppose. (its still disappointing though)

This is honestly not funny anymore. He never was that late to competition.

Don't worry, Fanyus. It will be OK. He will arrive in time. He is actually getting more and better practice and rest in Japan than he would in China. He can practice privately, not giving away any changes, if any. He can eat better (you know how he doesn't like to eat local food before an event), and he isn't harassed by media in Japan. He isn't forced to attend super spreader events in Japan, either, like the team sports and the opening event. Finally, even though jet lag isn't a problem, the fact that he practices in the wee hours of the night in Japan may mean that he needs to adjust to morning events. All this can be better done in Japan. It isn't far to fly from Japan to China, so he can wait until the last minute. He will get there. Please, try to get some rest, Dear Fanyus, before the big events to come! It will be OK!

Yuzu needs to practice the 4A as much as possible before the event, and he doesn't need people to see his progress on it. He has much more privacy and control in Japan, but he WILL get to China in time. Trust Yuzu! Try to relax and enjoy the Olympics, Dear Fellow Fanyus. Everything will be OK.

Did JSF say something? It's so weird why zero news about his status now... Atp people will speculate if he's healthy or not.. Sick or got covid (pls not) the only reason delaying his flight to Beijing.

If he's injured, JSF would send alternate (kazuki?) to Olympic already...

ANA is well aware of Yuzu's travel needs. My husband, as a corporate attorney, has had to fly internationally quite a bit, and the corporate jets have never failed him. No offense to my husband, but he is a nobody. I'm sure someone as important as Yuzu is well taken care of by ANA! I hate to see all you worry so much. It will be OK.

I trust he knows what is best for him but yes, I too am worried that he's leaving it late

When asked where is Yuzu, the announcer said "there is no doubt he is in the Olympic village now".

Is that even possible? Few days there and he doesn't even practice on ice? I find that hard to believe....

Thank you  :)

I find it hard to believe too, there's no way Yuzu would be able to be at Olympic village under the radar, he's too popular. The instant he shows up in Beijing the media will be all over him, so I feel like the chances of him already being at the village are slim

Quick question: does anyone know which stream has no commentary? Does Peacock offer no commentary?

Just trying to get myself set up ahead of the individual events. Any help would be appreciated! 😊
