I cant believe they are going that all out for him sighs he is like the shoma in 2016/17 season now Everyone thought the dark horse is Yuma but the breaking news is that the real dark horse is in fact JSF. JSF was totally capable of doing extreme politicking all these years. Totally on par with RUS and USA but wow, left any skater that is not named Yuma to be lowballed.

He will like the peace and quiet too maybe, which he is so used to. I wonder if this is related to his experience in Stockholm. I don't remember what he did in 2018 and 2014. But good to know that he is very careful and his mom is with him. I noticed his mom had some credentials in her hands in airport so maybe she will replace the lady with glasses.

February 6, 20224 yr Excellent - sounds as though he’s taking his own precautions which is what I hoped he would do. There are a lot of careless individuals around in the venue and I’m glad he’s being proactive.

Not heard any different. I wonder how officials will manage his and his mum's hotel stay as part of a bubble - the information released before the Games didn't indicate there was a choice other than staying in the village. is that right? I wonder if there are any health exemptions that apply (not that I think we should know Yuzuru's private health matters of course, just wondering). Also other athletes not allowed to come with parents, but his mum has been described as his manager before, and as he hasn't been at TCC I bet she's been his manager, psychologist, training confidante, chef...and chief hugger too! I'm glad she is with him. The article said other "delegates" were at the hotel - I wonder where Nobu is staying?? Questions, questions!! Well never know the answers probably!
February 6, 20224 yr Peacock premium seems to offer live streams of practices. If i understand it correctly, only Americans can subscribe to it, so not an option for some of us, unfortunately. By any chance, is there any other tv/channel that plans to stream practices live?

There is probably a lot going on in the Olympic village and some people might not take Covid safety precautions seriously. And with Yuzu being the biggest star of the Olympics, he would probably be swarmed by people all the time. So, yeah, hotel is definitely better.

From what I read somewhere, the hotel is actually a part of the bubble. It makes sense, since once you're inside the bubble, you're not allowed to leave it. It's apparently where officials are also staying. As far as I know, the other Japanese skaters are staying in the Olympic village. I guess his mom got an official accreditation as his manager. I hope Yuzu has a smooth ride and everything goes well for him.
February 6, 20224 yr The real drama is in the pairs event it seems...I don't understand how R & J haven't been reprimanded yet since this may have been the THIRD time this happened between these two teams
February 6, 20224 yr Meagan continues to be not subtle at all, lol I wonder what kind of practice Yuzu is planning for tomorrow...
