There's not much time left and they need 2 negative tests iirc? Not sure if we'll see Gleikhengauz at the team event.

Are you implying you’re going to miss him there? :D

No :dozey: I was just wondering about it...Which has a higher possibility now but somehow I feel they'll probably provide the required tests just in time for the TE.

Hmm anyway it's almost 10 PM in Beijing now, so it means Team Japan will arrive tomorrow? They don't need to deal with jet lag unlike other teams but they won't have much time to test the ice before the Team event. So they'll have less than two full days if they arrive tomorrow morning, which is a bit tight.

According to Shoma's youtube(his brother uploads every day), today, he did last practice at his home rink, and left home at evening, and last scene was at night in the train. And they seemed to reach anywhere.

And I have read that Japan team will leave  from several airports.

So I guess they stay at any hotel and will fly next morning, or go tonight?

Flight hours are 2 and an half.

wow still nothing :happy0007:Well typical, why I even thought it will be different

I'm starting to think that Yuzuru is gonna travel in a suitcase.

Well, none of the other single skaters has travelled yet.  As noted by some satellites above, Shoma's YT channel showed him preparing to leave - that was yesterday, so Team Japan single skaters are all probably leaving today (Feb 2) for Beijing. His trainer/physiotherapist is travelling with him according to the same YT channel so that's great for Shoma.  It was noted that Shoma will not be participating in Team Event to give his ankle more time to heal - which leaves Yuma and Yuzu for the TE.  I have a feeling Yuzu would have travelled later had he not been asked to attend the TE - minimizing the time spent in Beijing.  My expectation/speculation is that he will do the SP for TE, saving Tenchi for the FS single event.    Wishing Yuzu and all the Team Japan skaters a safe trip and a glorious competition at the Olympics!

I also checked Shoma's YT. They said Shoma wouldn't go to team event? I have not caught that. I miss something?
