And he has said that if Beijing happens to be along the way of his path to mastering 4a, then so be it. I truly believe he will continue competing into the next season, when he will have the chance to explore new programs and artistic expressions. He could retire and do them in ice shows, but I think he needs to go through the fire of competition to burnish his performance into a fine piece of art.

December 26, 20214 yr I just watched the victory ceremony. Yuzu was sooo cute and adorable!!! It's so good to see him happy, smiling, having fun, and so at ease. Yuzu has been improving so much, and not just on his 4A. I think all his jumps are easier, lighter, and have a higher quality than ever before. It's possible that training for the 4A has improved his strength, stamina, and speed, and that's why now his other jumps look so perfect and effortless. I have the feeling that Yuzu will land his 4A at the Olympics. Perhaps Yuzu is really destined to achieve the greatest things on the greatest stage.

I am always impressed from Yuzu's determination. I was expecting that after his injury he might take it easy when it comes to layout. But his dream is to land 4A, even if didn't quite work out today, he's much closer than it was months ago and will never give up. I’m so proud of him. He looked so happy in the K&C Now I am looking forward to the gala tomorrow. There are so many programs I would like to see again. Let's be surprised. And tomorrow there will also be a Kose voice message. We are really spoiled after the long drought.
