I'm still confused about Nate even considering switching his programs not once but also again possibly after us nationals??? like how in the world does the make sense. idc if you've won everything for 5 years straight, you don't randomly start changing programs two months before the olympics and then again in the 3 weeks leading up to it. something is not right over there.

I hope it's a sign that the pressure of Olys is making him crack

sorry if posted - I love Nam's tweets for Yuzuru

Perhaps he's finally realized that his programs are crap? :10814716:

But seriously now, this sounds to me like his preparations are not going well. In the past years, he's been severely favored and spoiled by the judges and he's gotten scores that were way too high for what he delivered. Because of this, he never seemed to have any incentives to really improve his skating and his programs. Even after all these years, he still uses his old formula. It's worked so far, with the huge help of the judges, but that doesn't mean that it will work forever.

Unlike Yuzu and even Shoma, Nate has never had to suffer through phases of failures and defeats. But it's actually experiencing setbacks and failures that makes you stronger and better when you come out on the other side.

It could be just fatigue or the sense of relaxation after being in a nervous state for a while such that his body just want to drop and rest.

Basically a delayed reaction to stress.

Speaking of which, my left shoulder suddenly knotted up right before Yuzu skated, and is still paining me.

On that note, I'm going back to bed!

Please. Every time he did this amazing thing in which he came back after some time and won a comp dramatically and beautifully, he just dropped some absolutely devastating info that made me want to yell at the universe (and in this case at him too).

i haven't seen any HD pics of yuz w the wreath on his head yet, are there any? not seeing hd pics of yuz w the wreath on his head is offensive tbh
